Nice collection! I've been all-in on Epics since day one and can proudly say I own them all, outside of the Star Wars and licensed stuff. A cool thing about Epics is getting stuff that would never receive collections otherwise. There's some rough patches for Iron Man and Daredevil in the late 60s-early 70s. It's kind of fun to go through the highs and lows of a title and seeing how things change. Can be a tough read at times, but it’s fun if you're a Marvel historian!
I agree with you completely. At 292 Epics as of this writing, it’s a lot to get through, but so far I’m enjoying the journey. Lots of incredible volumes and stories I’ve never thought possible, like DOCTOR STRANGE and DEFENDERS, to some familiar, nostalgic epic stories from X-MEN and AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, to embracing and enjoying titles I previously thought boring and unnecessary, like AVENGERS and FANTASTIC FOUR! I pride myself on being a bit of a historian, having read comics since the 90s.
Excellent question! I have thought about it, but I’m just not interested in the modern storytelling. They just don’t engage or grab my attention the way the classic stories do. Maybe at some point I might, but as of right now I’m only concentrating on the “classic” Epics from the 1960s to the early 2000s, prior to the start of the “modern” Epics.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Vol. 17 AVENGERS Vol. 4-10 DEFENDERS Vol. 6-9 DOCTOR STRANGE Vol. 3 GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol. 1 IRON FIST Vol. 1 X-MEN Vol. 4-7 come to mind. These were all really great and easy-breezy reads, and I’m always discovering great writers and artists with each book I read. I’m really surprised at how much I enjoyed Fantastic Four and Avengers. I’m really enjoying GHOST RIDER: DANNY KETCH at the moment.
