Unfortunately it seems that this is more closer to the BlackSwordsman Arc but I'm holding out for a crack in the MC's stoicism and hopefully they don't save that for the very end. That was one of the most defining moments in the Berserk manga that never got animated so I'd love it if this anime has that type of moment to.

Not... exactly. A Siren's weakness is their voice. A small cut on their vocal chord, and they are easy pickings. Minotaur, their crotch. @@lumberluc Yes I know all this and they all exactly take physical speed and strength, the monster won't just be staying still allowing you to use their weakness.
Cool that we get to see these guys/girls in action, but from what I've heard, it actually takes away a very big part of the story. As cool as they may be now, a beast can only be controlled for so long. The manga version followed a "monster of the week" formula with each episode explaining who the monster's host is, who they were like in the war, and what he/she is doing that is hurting everyone around them. Then, fight said monster, help civilians, figure out what their power is and how to beat it, then beat him and get a sad little epilogue from the monster's host. This, while very epic, defeats the point of learning who each of them are.
@@trellnebula problem is that this scene right here has all of them use their powers right away. It would've worked if it was done after they were all dead but this takes place in episode one, which ends up taking off a good chunk of suspense since we already know what they do.
