Peter Lorre parodies are practically their own type of Halloween stock archetype.
Gravedale high walked so Monstee high could run.
I think Monster High might’ve been inspired by this.
There's one episode of this that I always remember: the students find out that Schneider is (supposedly) leaving Gravedale High and, angry that the one teacher who believed in them is leaving, shut him out. Schneider, who wasn't sure about leaving, decides to go ahead and leave, so the kids then need a new teacher. The first two are classroom tyrants, so the students drive them away, then they get "Mr Creepers", who seems to be a zombie but, after the students talk about Schneider and how he left, turns out to actually BE Schneider in a zombie costume (he posed as a monster to get his old job back without technically returning). There's a nice moral about trust and, come to think of it, this may have been the same episode with the rich jerk school, I haven't seen them for years.
That's wierd. Hanna-Babera already had a short-lived series revolving around the offspring of universal monsters going to school with "Ghoul School". Also, wouldn't it had been more fitting to name Blanche "Zora" after Zora Neale Hurston who had did some research on the original zombie folklore?

I heard originally there was suppose to be a spin-off of the Grimwood Girls from Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School.

growing up I had the Happy Meal toy of the mummy girl Cleo, and I always wondered where it came from.... Thanks for answering that question.

Any cartoon where the characters are more than one dimensional stereotypes and tropes, has something to offer in comparison the majority of animated programs produced for children.

I have NEVER heard of this show! This is the first time I've seen this! I think young 1990 me was watching the Simpsons and TMNT at that time (now that I think about it I think they never aired it her in my country). To be honest, I think it's a well written show, cliches and tropes aside. Thank you for pointing out its amazing cast of voice acting talents!

I knew this show wasn’t a fever dream! Me and my tattoo artist were discussing this show once and how it was so weird that we could remember this nearly lost in time series.
I heard of this cartoon show back in the early 1990s but I never saw a single episode. Which is kind of a shame, now that I’ve seen this video.
It possible the reason why curry wasnt utilized was due to him being a hot commidity in films i think this was when the IT tv series was coming out so they probably were lucky to grab him when they could

I think the only reason the ghoul girls were in that was because the animators and/or writers of that show probably seen that scooby doo movie featuring them; hence they probably wanted to do a cool reference to it. Whereas this show, I doubt seriously most people have heard of it. Heck, I didn't even know this show existed when I was growing up until Rob literally did a video on this show recently. Therefore, I doubt seriously it'll happen. It's possible, but highly unlikely.

There were some shows with the school setting that were interesting.
For example Disney's Fillmore, where the whole show is reminisent of a
cop drama. That show also had lessons and morals, but they were suprisingly
mature.
I remember that I came upon this on a night I couldn't sleep. I watch the first episode and enjoying it but never When t beyond that. I also saw this other show that as far as I remember had a similar art style but was set in space high school.
The Beast parody sounds like Simon Belmont from Captain N.
