Absolute masterpiece. Although the original was far from what it is today, it has been reformulated several times since the house was bought out. The first reformulations were a disgrace. However, the newest one is very good, but if you can find a vintage sample, definitely do so.
Definately is vintage smelling, i would say that people could read the notes and imagine the dried flower version of the florals, and any fruit notes are not like fresh fruits, nor juice, but rather with bitter mossy woody overlay. If one likes fragrances from the 80s and 90s thatll give you the best prep for what these old school frags feel like
Hi Cristiano. I think it overshadows most of the rest of the notes, but most still come through… I’m not sure what oak moss all alone would smell like, so I guess I would have to have that as a reference to say for 100% certain.

I just purchased Mitsouko EDT & it's incredibly beautiful. I suspect this will be my number one Guerlain fragrance deposing Vol de Nuit
The edp is my signature. It is intoxicating to me☺️
I find that the majority of my favorites since the 70s have been chypres. My first introduction to the house of Guerlain.
I like Nomade by Chloe, also chypre perfume. Is this from the same family of fragrances?

Good review, thanks a lot! I own both edp and edt. One of my favourites :)
Awesome comparison
Masterpiece!
Great review. Exactly what I needed to know.
This was the Signature Scent of Romy Schneider
And Charlie's Chaplin too
They say it is the best oakmoss on msrket currently is that so ? Which version
Do you find that the EDT has a musty library / old books scent, or is it more along the feel of a vetiver/rooty/oakmoss bomb?
Vetiver/rooty/Oakmoss with bergamot on top, yep. :)
Hello. Congratulations on the review! Do you think that in Mitsouko the oak moss note is so prominent that it hides the other notes? Thanks.
