How different is the R8 to the Porsche Cup car you normally drive? Was it a bit adjustment to your driving style?
Hey mate! I don’t know. My cousin drove it, but I know it has a lot more aero and better braking.
@@dirkschoutenracing I was about to ask the same question! 😅 Cool to see this footage BTW. Would be interesting to see you competing in the GTWC as well, but I guess the costs are really high for a driver, if you drive in such top motorsport series.

Absolutely beautiful pov from your cousin, did he enter in the WEC series or still in multiclass racing and does multiclass racing have different types of levels like in the WEC like for example Pro-Am level?
Thanks mate! He races sometimes, not a full season. He got asked to drive this endurance race and was happy to take the seat. He raced in Pro-Am I believe.

How do you start a career like this? I’m 20 years old rn and cars and racing is my life. 💭🚗🏁
I really have the dream to become one of the drivers in the Porsche Supercup. Because Porsche is also my dream car and I just can’t describe in words how I would feel riding a Porsche on the circuit. Also when I started watching your videos it made me think maybe it’s still possible. 🥹😍

Does team's in Porsche Cup also have two drivers like in F1 or is it one driver for each team?
Some teams even have 4 drivers
Most of them have 2 drivers and each in their own car

I don’t know, my cousin drove it. But I think any GT3 drives better than the Porsche Cup. Just a better car overall.

@@Timrud1yes, this Audi competes in the GT3 class whereas the Porsche that Dirk drives is a Porsche cup car which is like a GT3 car but with less downforce, less assists etc and therefore a little slower
