Not sure if it's just me, but the highlights don't really seem to blend at all, looks more like a light green splodge has just dropped onto his skin which is a bit jarring.

These tips are done to a tabletop standard, and that means transitions will always look rough under this kind of zoomed in filming.

That's fair enough I guess, I shouldn't really scrutinise when I'm the one coming for the channel for free tips.

even for tabletop standard though that highlights stands out too much and it doesn't even look sickly green in the slightest : /

You CAN use nurgling green if you want

Burgling green would work better as a base highlight, then maybe a mix with wych flesh for the next highlight, and then a final fine highlight of wych flesh itself.

Good tutorial. The only other thing I'd suggest is possibly some Nuln Oil or thinned-down Abbadon Blank around the edges of the belly split to take the necrotic effect one step further.

I’ve been struggling for so long to make sickly looking flesh! Thank god I found this vid

Looks cool. I'll be using it for my Fomoroid Crusher model though I used a coat of Cadian Fleshtone to give the skin a warmer tone so when the glazes are done, it looks like it started rotting recently but that's a preference thing.

For my Nurgle models I just do an undercoat of white scar/skull white and then wash all fleshy parts with Athonian Camoshade.

Also, are the wounds and intestines at the end slathered with Nurgle's rot?

Speaking for myself, I'd definitely add a bit of Nurgle's Rot to the intestines...not sure about the wounds, but if I did it would only be the largest ones as that stuff's easy to overdo. I'm planning on doing this to my Poxwalkers.

Mine is commando khaki with various amounts of green, brown and purple wash. Simple, but works.

    Hi
Can you tell me if you used a 1:1 of Lamian Medium and Athonian Camoshade at 7:30 ?

I have never gotten a wash to behave that well. It always seems to come out splotchy and uneven for me.

Nice! I've been looking for a way to paint both my helbrute and great unclean one! Thanks!

Nice work I will be using this on my DG minis, one question though - I struggle painting small areas of detail (such as highlighting) with my brushes but I noticed you seem to use one brush for all, which brush is that please?

I don’t know which brush he used but the one the seems the most versatile to me is a artificer layer brush, good coverage but small enough to get really good detail

It was looking good until you added the highlights...... Which sucks cause I really like the color Rakarth Flesh.
