One of my favorite songs ever. I’m obsessed with the Sundays. So glad to see some reactions to them.
This album turned 30 this past year lol I was 17 and still listening at 47.
this song was in the soundtack to the buffy of the vampire slayer as well
Do review the whole album "Blind". Edges out even "Reading, Writing" on many a day for me. They are so brilliant, Harriet's girlish never-grating voice and youthful-angst lyrics with David's balmy, leavening guitar. Something just loving and lovable about their music.
The chorus was used in a Budweiser ad years ago showing Clydesdales running through the snow.
You should listen to goodbye, it's their best song.
Nope. It's 'I can't be sure'.
Agreed
It’s from the famous Reese Whitherspoon /marky mark rollercoaster scene in the movie FeAR
It’s from The Rolling Stones, love.
I think of Buffy and angel when I hear this song
The best cover of a song ever. She kills Mic. He sounds like a wounded dog compared to Harriet!
I’m so glad you touched on The Sundays again even if it’s as recent as a year ago from now, but I do really hope you react to the rest of their 2 released albums! After all, it’s been half a decade since you last reacted to their debut album, which is crazy to think about isn’t it 😅? If you ever do react to their 2 other their albums, I’d say it’s important to keep an open mind and have understanding for their unusual rhythms and lyrics! It might also be helpful to watch UA-cam videos about The Sundays, as it really intrigued my interest and understanding about them. A really good one is titled “The Sundays: Whatever hapened to the British Band?” by Rock N’ Roll True Stories!
The3 Sundays are SO underrated
Joy is my favorite Sundays song.
No such thing as a dud from the Sundays.
Goodbye please! it´s a great song
Buffy and the movie Fear, dude. Seriously?
Wild Horses by Patti Smith ? Really ?
Budweiser commercial in the 90s-
