  • We're updating our custom car window screens and working on some other DIY projects to make our SUV camper more comfortable. The changes to our car window screens and window covers make it easier to manage the power for the fans. Our other projects make it easier to play games, watch tv, stay dry, and eat while we're camping, especially as we spend more time in our tiny camper in the winter!

What I really like about your guys SUV is that you still have room for passengers. It's nice to be able to have room like you guys do in case it's more then just the two of you. Great job you guys.

Thanks for Another great video. You have given so many helpful tips, I would like to try and return the favor. My wife and I have 2021 Pilot, and we purchased an automobile cargo net For the interior. It has worked out really nice for us. And hangs from the ceiling between the front seats and the middle row, and you keep your pillow and blankets up there. When you’re ready to go to sleep, you can just pull them down and use them. It’s very easy, and very inexpensive, and it just gives you that much more storage.

Do the computer fans really cool you guys down? I am planning on making those window covers for my 2016 ford focus se hatchback but I don’t want to work hard on something that doesn’t necessarily cool me down

It really depends on the weather conditions and what you’re looking for. These fans help keep air flowing through the vehicle. They don’t work the same as large electrical fans though.

Hi! How can these plywood cover stay in place while driving or opening and closing the door? Any ideas? Since I’m planning to put in more items in the cover so it will have weight.

We never drive with them in the door - we always store them safely for driving. But for keeping them in place at camp when opening and closing the door, we find the tension between the seal and the door enough. You could probably experiment with some clips if that doesn't work for you though.

Could you spell the type of wire you used for the tablet couldn't quite catch it. Thanks

It's called OOK Wire. Specifically, we used OOK 50-ft Plastic Coated Multi-Purpose Wire in Blue from Home Depot.
