This bike's suspension is mad sketch when carving through roads like these. lol. I changed my tires to some good performance tires and it changed a ride a tiny bit but it was still a lil sketchy. It's fun though. it feels like you're going fast without actually going insane speeds. hgahahah Enjoyed this POV a lot! Ride safe!
yeah that's the sad bit, you can't ride the bike hard on mountain/hill side roads. It just does feel planted at all with the stock suspension, debating whether or not I upgrade my suspension which will run about 1k USD or just sell the bike and get another bike around the same price point.

Anybody else ever get annoyed when cagers hit the brakes when you pass them. Like, I ride a liter bike. I don’t need your help getting around. There are very few cars that could stop me from passing them, if I wanted to. I don’t need help getting your Camry, bro. Don’t insult my arrogant pride, like that. 😂
This has also happened to me, was on the highway (Philippine speeds so not too fast) but I tried downshifting and the whole shift rod just came undone and fell apart. Got scared real quick, luckily was able to compose myself and find a nice little spot to pull over. Same bike as well (same color too which is sweet), 2016 FZ 07. Anyways love your vids man, hoping you enjoy the hell out of the FZ and ride safe!
Scary but been there! In my rat bike Harley, had to pull out quick which this bike was not, shifting into third my foot just kept going up! Felt around then looked to confirm it broke off. Found it in the road, just coated in neutral. Used a vise grip and tlhat was my shifter till I got home lol difficulty but worked!
Woodcraft clip ons (1" upside down)and a ohlins rear shock with some heavy weight oil in the front forks will completely change the bike. If you were in htx I'd say come ride it and see

I don’t believe this , because you’re a very experienced rider, but I wonder… This is not a let down or critic, much the opposite, it’s for my learning process. About the incident, scary! Where the hell is the Yamaha reliability and Japanese quality control? Arghhhh!

Always check your bike over for loose fasteners and such before the first ride of the day.

Definitely me, but the rear wheel is squared off from the previous owner doing crappy burnouts.
