62 and been a Sammy fan since Montrose, Zep was my favorite band growing up, loved Surfing with the Alien, and Eddie was and always will be my favorite guitarist. Grateful to be alive and hearing this 🙏🤘😎

Love when music elitists have to make condescending comments like this. It's not about replicating technical ability, it's about replicating someone's particular style. Everyone plays a little differently, nothing is "easy" about that. We all know Joe can go above and beyond what Eddie did on a technical level.

Me too! August 23rd in Houston. I saw VH with DLR in 1985. Saw the very first Van Hagar show in Shreveport. Saw Van Hagar two other times. Saw Joe in a smaller venue in Houston . I've been a guitar instrumental afficionado since the 80s so this is like a full circle moment for me. And y'all MUST check out Mammoth WVH to see the Eddie legacy living in the uber-talented Wolfie. He blew me away opening for Alter Bridge in Houston in 2023. "Take A Bow" in particular is an AWESOME song and Wolfie shows he learned some guitar tricks from his Daddy. 🤘🎸

It's okay, keys shoulda had organ during the chorus and the piano seemed out of timing in the beginning. But, I get it, not VH for real but still sounds nice and I love Satriani, he's the best ever.

Considering their ages they did fine. Setlist was varied and paid honestly to different eras. Raw footage will always have its glitches...
