I’m on my third set of rotors in two years. There has to be a long term fix for the way these vans warp rotors so easily. The ones on it now are drilled and slotted because I thought it would help.
The second drawback is you are pushing fluid back through the ABS pump which may contain contaminates and there is a small chance you could damage it, it probably depends on how rusty your bleed screws are which risk you want to take.
Where's the can of silver paint...LOL...I did this job on my Explorer and just couldn't put things back together without spraying the caliper and bracket.
JD, can you show the rear drum process on a Toyota or similar? Haven't done rear drums in decades and must have those spring and adjuster tools somewhere, buried in my tool sets. -ha.
Really good information for those who have never replaced brake pads on disc brakes

That screw was a lot easier than the rivets I had to drill out of my rotor hub combo from the Corvette. Good stuff Barry, good tips

I so can understand about getting parts then they get put in the garage and life gets in the way and they sit.

I’ve done a drum video on a Toyota sienna. It should be in the Toyota playlist. I’ve done others on a ford ranger, chevelle, Impala…
