Thanks Q8 and I agree its a great module. I picked my copy up from Orbx, on the day of release and simpy. I love it. Looking out the left window, when you are in the air, as the scenery, over the engine and that lanky long wing, just doesn't get old, anytime of the day. I didn't know about engine damage option, but I should read the manual.😅
Great video and thank you I've just purchased on your recommendation I live 5 miles from Tynmouth the north east uk I believe you know the area Q8 ♥️♥️👏👏👏
I like the fact that they have made two engine versions of the aircraft, even extetically, as the engine intakes are not the same. Much better option than having a tablet for animations... i like to fly, not only look at the aircraft on the ground ... a must have for me.
Hello Q8pilot. Can u tell me please which addon makes the MSFS ingame menu circular? And also please as you landed it showed your landing rate fpm - name or link to that addon please as well. Thank you.
Struggling with this aircraft as it does not work with a Brunner yoke because the VLARs are controlled by brunner I think. Does anyone have a work round?
@@Q8Pilot the correct procedure is to keep the slip/skid indicator within reach of the roll pointer at all times. Rudder trim is a useful aid, but remember that one trim setting works for one speed only.
So it looks like the real aircraft, sounds like the real aircraft, performs like the real aircraft, has every system modeled and operating like the real aircraft.......but there's no iPad to make the wheel chocks appear and disappear, so it sucks ? Really ?
There is a custom engine maintenance module. The EFB is nice to have. This is an excellent rendition of the DA42. If you are serious flight simmer this is a must.
This developer is interested in high fidelity flight models, sound and visuals and I’m fine with that. If you want a GA airplane with all the gimmicks but IMO a really twitchy and unnatural flight model, there’s the FSR500.
I haven't been this excited to fly an aircraft since the SWS Kodiak 100 released. Great work to the dev team
I start my Multi Engine training on a DA-42 tomorrow. How I wish this addon would have been released one or two weeks earlier 😢
Good luck👍

The circular menu is Flow Pro by Parallel 42. The landing rate widget is part of Flow Pro.
Vision is awesome. Good views for camera work😅

The OEI exercise was quite messy… can’t just trim it and forget about rudder until landing…
The rudder was trimmed way before the landing to compensate for the yaw after engine shut down. So what is the correct procedure?

@@YSLaurens Thanks for the info. Appreciate it.
no EFB? no Maintenance Module?👎
Rumor has it that that will be coming later
It’s not that big of a deal 😂
