The Lark M2S - the next generation of wireless Lavalier mics from Hollyland is released today! How are you going to use yours? Where will your creativity take you?
Dang I didn’t even knows these were out ! I have the hollyland Lark M2 and would looking at upgrading to the Max. Might have to consider these bad boys !
Thank you for making this open and honest video, its such a pleasure (and relief) to find someone who works with an Apple ecosystem, understands their products and sees the potential within their ecosystem system and varied products, but along with that, have a pure honest opinion, that I have to admit, pretty much matches my own with Apple. I did have a question in relation to the Lark M2S. I was wondering how it compares to the DJI Mic’s (mainly their new Mic Mini’s)? Ive seen a lot of content creators use them however when watching more professionally produced videos they’ve used other methods of recording audio (different lapel mic’s) which are obviously a little more out of the “everyday” consumer market. Again thank you for sharing this video and being such a refreshing delight to watch.
Hi there - thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Sadly, I don't have the DJI to compare it with, but I can honestly tell you that it's a mic I will be using a lot. It's not only the great audio, but moreover, the convenience! For instance, I'm about to start working on a script for a Short now and will almost certainly use the Lark M2S along with my Canon. This is no toy or gimmick, it's a proper piece of kit!
@ Thank you so much for the reply. These are something I’m now seriously considering, I have to admit audio is an area most people forget about when making videos and having good quality microphones I think is the first step towards good audio. (It also makes things a little easier in post). Thank you again for sharing. As I’ve just discovered yourself I hope you don’t mind me catching up on your previous videos, I think I’m in for an “Afternoon with David Lewis” so to speak. I can’t wait to dive in to your back catalog but also see what your future videos have in store for us.

I love how comprehensive and honest your videos are. Earned a sub!
Awesome, thank you! That sub means so much - hopefully, you'll enjoy the content coming your way over the next few weeks!
Audio sounds good to me, David. 👍🏻
Thanks, Dave - just making a Short using them that'll be up soon and have processed the audio...it sounds even better now!
