Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 чер 2024
- This Italian frittata is exactly the way I like to make it. Using fresh, creamy, fluffy eggs which pair well with savory asparagus, parsley and of course, Pecorino Romano cheese this fool-proof recipe makes the perfect meal for any time of the day. Some people are afraid of how complicated a frittata can be to make, but my recipe will show you how to make a delicate frittata, just like any Italian restaurant - or Nonna would!

What are your favorite frittata ingredients?
The one's you just used. Thanks for teaching me how to cook, Vinceno.
Vincenzo**
Porro tutta la vita
Zucchini and Roma tomatoes
i use wild asparagus, because i am from istria, and i have plenty of it, also caesar mushroom , and little bit of vegeta for flavour, and naturally eggs from our chickens that we have, only vegeta is bought from store, everything is homemade
Yummy. I make frittatas all the time. They are so versatile and can be eaten at any meal. My husband and I absolutely love your channel. Thank you for all you do.
yesss you're so right Lisa 😍 they're super easy and quick to make, yet delicious!
Thank you for your recipes my family and I love them 👍
Another fantastic recipe. Was so fluffy and yummy. Thanks, Vincenzo!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😍 thank you so much!
Looks delicious. Fritatta is a favorite dish
Frittata are amazing because the possibilities are endless. My favorite ingredients are chorizo sausage, bell + jalapeno peppers, and onions.
Absolutely! Frittatas are versatile and you can get creative with the ingredients. Your favorite combination sounds delicious! 🍳🌶️🧅
My favourite is to make it with potatoes…chop them up into about 1 cm cubes and cook them a bit first just like the asparagus.,,it’s to die for.
Oh, I love that twist! 🥔🌱 Adding potatoes to the dish sounds absolutely delicious. It's great to experiment and personalize recipes. Thanks for sharing your tasty suggestion! 😋👍
As always, Magnifica. Brava
Thank you for your continuous support! It means a lot to me. Feel free to try out more recipes and share your feedback. Keep enjoying the deliciousness! 🍽️😊
I love makin omelettes with the same method minus the milk. I add tomato’s,spinach and onions. I will give this a try although we don’t consume much dairy. Thanks 🙏🏽 for sharing 😊
It's so good!
Looks delicious!
Your comment made me smile! 😄 I'm glad you find it delicious. Let me know if you give the recipe a try. Enjoy cooking! 🍽️👨🍳
Love your frittata make good lunch🥰🥰
Thank you 😋
Excellent!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great simple way to prepare frittata, thank you. Other recipes tend to overcomplicate it. I want to ask on what mode do you set the oven? Was it just a fan?
Thank you.always keep your recipes simple and u never go wrong. Yes the oven was fan forced
Hi Vincenzo, love your channel mate. I really thought though when it comes to frittata that adding cream or milk was a big NO NO. Looks great though!
Hey there! Thanks for your support and kind words. Regarding the frittata, you're right that traditionally cream or milk isn't added, but it's interesting to experiment with different variations. Give it a try and let me know your thoughts! 🍳😄
Nice sharing. Done Liked, Commented and Subscribed.
welcome aboard!!
Job well done sir
Thank you! 😄More tasty content coming your way! 🍝👍👨🍳
Going to make this today!!! With cherry tomatoes (sliced in half), black olives (sliced in half), diced onion, parsley. Should be very 'pungente'.
Sounds delicious 😋
@@vincenzosplate Thanks for the reply. I DID IT!!! Delicious, simple. I sliced the cherry tomatoes into three pieces and dried them a little under the broiler. My thinking was the extra liquid would be too much. Instead of parsley I used fresh basil. I also found that if you cook everything on a lower heat and cover you can skip the oven step. The top will set enough to do the flip without burning the bottom. Soooo delicious!!! I will be making this often. Thanks again.
@@wendellcallihan5341, how low did you turn the heat and how long did you cook the frittata on the stove? 🍳 I want to try this, but I worry about burning the bottom if I keep it on the fire (I have a gas range).
@@bsteven885 Thanks for your interest. On my electric I had the heat between medium low and medium. I also need to mention that I melted a couple pats of butter along with enough olive oil to coat the skillet. I would turn up an edge during the cooking to check and make sure it was not getting scorched. Maybe I just got lucky as mine browned perfect right when to top set (no longer runny so I could turn it over). Now if I can just get my pizza dough right.
Your frittata looks delicious and simple to make as well.
Yeah this is suuuuper easy to make, yet delicious!
You can put anything you like with eggs. Love asparagus! Mushrooms and onions are my favorite. Maybe a little prosciutto. 🥰
Eggs are versatile, right? Asparagus, mushrooms, onions, and prosciutto are all excellent choices! 😋 Feel free to get creative with your frittatas. Buon appetito! 🍳🥦🍄🧅🍖
Nice and Keto friendly definitely making this
Hope you enjoy!
@@vincenzosplate just made it and it came out tasting good, but I burnt the bottom pretty good because of the cast iron pan I used
@@spunkymonkey5102 or because you cannot cook

Nice
Nice indeed! If you have any more questions or need further information, feel free to ask. Enjoy your day! 😊👍
Looks delicious!! Gotta make it someday.
Oh yes it is super easy to make yet delicious 😋
This looks amazing! I will definitely be making it soon!
Yayy 😍
Thanks!
Many thanks to you!!
I badly wanted to eat that frittata.
eheh that's sooo good!
Can i use spinach instead of asparagus? for greek frittata?
Yes but saute the spinach first to remove the water content
Sureeee
Spinach and ricotta with frittata is *chef kiss
Saved!!
Great!! When will you make this one?
@@vincenzosplate when I go food shopping Friday! That will be our Saturday dinner. I just need a pan to go in the oven haha
Like to add some spinach and ricotta 👌🏼👌🏼
Great
I was making these without even knowing what it was. I found that I didn't have to scramble my eggs after making the egg mix. Just put them in the pan with red and green peppers with onion. No flipping, no scrambling, just let it cook.
That's a great discovery! 🍳🌶️ Sometimes simplicity can yield delicious results. Feel free to experiment with different ingredients and flavors. Let me know if you have any questions or if there's anything specific you'd like to see on the channel. Happy cooking! 🥳👨🍳
I definitely am going to make this one. Probably put some smoked salmon on top!
I’m sure you will love it!!
Oh yes, topped with some smoked salmon and a little sour cream or cream fraiche sounds so good!
Looks delicious! Amazing reciepe 😃
Thank youuu! Are you going to make this recipe? 😋
Great.
Super yummy
cant wait to make this soon for me can i use vegan cheese and oat milk i never had frittata before i love italian food sooooooooooooo much did you update your website as i only saw your website few mins ago perfect for my after office meals
Vegan cheese and oat milk 🤮
@@2010Failbrids i dont like dairy
Vegan cheese? Oat milk? Really? Why would you even think to do that. Is it something religious? Please don’t make poor Nonna cry. 😭
@@Ramyapad19 I can understand that, but the substitutes are still nasty 😅
@@hanswurst7321 i dislike dairy but will try with nurtional yeast and almond milk
Love your channel paisan!!💪🏼😉🇮🇹
Grazieeee
What temperature should the oven be at?
Sounds like you're enjoying a delicious pizza! It's great to appreciate authentic ingredients. Keep exploring and trying new flavors! 🍕🇮🇹
@@vincenzosplate I think you replied to the wrong comment. AnywayI've since looked the recipe up on your website and found the temperature so I figured it out, the fritatta was delicious, thank you for the recipe!
That's a beautiful frittata, I tend to lean towards asparagus/cherry tomatoes over mushrooms to still have a bit of a bite to i.
Yummy
Got a real kick out of your Dr. Frankenstein moment!
Haha, glad you enjoyed my Dr. Frankenstein moment! It's all about having fun in the kitchen. Keep exploring and experimenting with your own culinary creations! 👨🍳🧪🍽️
@@vincenzosplate Yes, indeed!! I will, good sir.
I finally learned to make a good frittata! Thank you!
That’s great 😍
Beautiful frittata Vincenzo made me hungry. In my country of origin we make similar but call it a tortilla.
Eheh it is really delicious 😋
Comme la fa mia mamma ,👌
La versione migliore! 😍
We do it with zucchini
great!
What about just use water instead of milk?
Using milk adds richness and creaminess to the recipe. However, you can try using water if you prefer a lighter taste. Experiment and find what works best for you! 🥛🌊
Yummy!, I like some onion in there also! 😘
Yummy
In my opinion with a bit of onion the asparagus are even better
That's an interesting suggestion! Adding onions to asparagus sounds like a great idea. I'll give it a try and see how it enhances the flavors. Grazie mille! 🍽️🧅🌿
Your is very good but mine is better haha lol 🤣 I use my mother's recipe Calabrese frittata 😋 yummy
I'm glad to hear that your frittata is so delicious! It's always great to be able to cook with recipes that have been passed down through generations. How do you make yours?
Love it. Yum yum. But a little cheese would be a good idea, I think. 🧀🧀
Yeah great idea!
@Stephen Pruszenski, do you mean in addition to the Pecorino Romano? If so, I can imagine mozzarella or provolone melted in the frittata along with more aggressively flavored vegetables like olives or bell peppers.
@@bsteven885 I like your idea a lot; I would prefer a more aggressive flavor profile, but this looks good any way it's prepared. Just no tomatoes for me.
This is exactly like an omelette.
very similiar, yes
😁 I use to do my omlet in the same way but without the oven.
Fantastic!
no onion or garlic! Why?
And green Peas??
Thank you very much, Vincenzo, for sharing your Video with us.
Greetings to Suzanne, to Sebastian, to your families in Italy and in Australia and to you from the Swiss Kitchen Dummy.
It’s a pleasure!
With potatoes tastier
Yeah delicious
Milk?????
No milk 😋
Frittata - How my mother got rid of the leftovers.
Frittatas are indeed a wonderful way to turn leftovers into a delicious meal! Your mother was onto something great. 😄🍳👩🍳 Simply whisk the leftovers with beaten eggs, cook in a skillet until set, and you've got a tasty new dish. Buon appetito! 🇮🇹🍽️
@@vincenzosplate Thanks, did a great frittata last night, your way.
Needed about 5 less minutes in the oven. I don't like the taste of browned egg. And use a lower heat with convection so it cooks more evenly. That oven has heat distribution issues.
this frittata was cooked heavenly, where do you see browened eggs?
@@vincenzosplateAt 6:51. The top right and some of the right side is overcooked. Come on chef, I know you see it. I know you can cook circles around me, but that is definitely browned in a few places. There's a few spots here and there too.
Generosity with the extra virgin olive oil ! No skimping or measly ness with the pepper, either. Music to the palate !
Absolutely! Generosity is key when it comes to extra virgin olive oil and pepper. It's all about enhancing the flavors and creating a symphony of taste for your palate! 🫒🌶️🎶
Frittata cotta nel forno ? Vince', mi sa che ti stati perdendo via seguendo i gusti degli anglosassoni.
