I’ve always been interested in reading it because of Anne of Green Gables but don’t think I can commit to it until I finish Don Quixote which I’m way behind on - best of luck on it though! I’ll be excited to hear your thoughts on it 😊

Yes absolutely. It’s such a good idea to break it up and read over a few months. Definitely less intimidating that way. And I was just wondering if there’s an audiobook then you said there is! Will be following along :) thank you

OMG! YES! I started this earlier this year and got about 100 pages in then stopped. It is HARD- no, let's say, a CHALLENGE. The spelling is tricky to get used to but I was finding it interesting, and some bits are really entertaining. So yes! Definitely up for some accountability!
I would love to join this readalong! I've always been interested in this but I don't know if I'd ever get around to reading it by myself. The schedule sounds very reasonable and enjoyable. Scribd has the audiobook too! I will also get a printed copy and do an immersive read. It sounds positively wonderful 🤩

Read it at university, about a hundred years ago. Would not be averse to revisiting it at a more sensible pace.
