I just ordered one today after Ryan and Josh convinced me. I really liked that tone you got at the end as you rolled off the guitar volume. They didn't showcase that. It was a really nice blues tone.
Dude, the newer units have some problem with input signal. If you don't have another pedal to attenuate the signal you'll probably get an ugly tone and no headroom. Just compressed and fuzzy sound (not pleasing) if the tone passed 12 o'clock and fuzz is not at minimum.
@@inset09 Ah, it was dirt cheap. Not the end of the world if it's a dud. I can always roll off the volume a bit, or use my JAzzmaster which has low output pups.
Im sorry but i had to get you the like n101, sorry for breaking that sweet 100 - 0 like ratio. Ok enough of that, great video, i really like this format of demos, its just really good in comparasion to others
I wish I could do that, but I don't have this pedal anymore. I've recently been cleaning up (selling) some of the stuff I don't use that much, and I sold this pedal too. Not that there was anything wrong with it, but I simply had too many pedals lying around 😁
Definitely like your channel, especially the no talking part of the demonstration The only thing that would improve everything would be to have some idea of what to play for each box. In other words, this demonstration would be great if you played some stuff like Sweetleaf or other Sabbath riffs. Maybe some Hendrix. Something relatable.
Thanks man, I appreciate the comment! I'd like to do that, but chances are my channel would get flagged pretty quick (copyright). I see on other channels how much hassle it can be simply because they play a riff or part of a known song (even if it's only a couple of seconds). So it's probably better/safer to just use original content.
@@RudyBressers oh okay. Didn't take that into account. Anyway keep up the good work. Your no talking format is very refreshing after watching so many knuckleheads! LOL!
Thanks! :) I mostly power my pedals with a Truetone Spot 9V power supply. They are very reliable in my experience and introduce little to no noise (which does happen sometimes when you use a very cheap power supply).
@@RudyBressers I’ll definitely have to look into those. I just have an adapter right now and daisy chaining the other pedals. Sounds like upgrading the supply would be a worthwhile investment at some point. Appreciate the insight as I haven’t heard of the TrueTone.

Hi Ian, as I've understood Cuvave recently changed something in the new batch of Fuzz pedals they produced. Which is a shame, but if they indeed changed something in the pedal, it might be difficult to reproduce the sounds of the previous version :(

A very good sounding fuzz indeed :)
Even at it's lowest setting it's got the punch one could look for in a fuzz pedal. Well done with your demo.
