That's uber amazing! Total focus and self motivation! Well done! I swim one hour x 4 times a week.... the weight and body shape is changing incrementally... but I'm a 56 year old menopausal woman and that's a different ball game. But I LOVE swimming... so it's win win. 🙂

Awesome work. Re-educating yourself and throwing away old & bad habits is one of the hardest things to do!

Totally amazing and inspiring. I think I saw a 4th pic near the end of the video (14:30) and it appears you've added some strength training. Good old strength training plus your swimming routine will really compliment each other. Keep it going!

I downloaded the MySwimPro app just to monitor distance. I’m almost 60 years old, 6’2” and got to 260 pounds due to long haul Covid which made me nearly bed bound for seven months.
I’m 2.5 weeks in and up to 1000 yards a day, five days a week. No weight loss as of yet.
Please add cardiovascular and lung improvements as goals. My lungs are in terrible shape from lack of aerobic exercise, but slowly they are getting better. I have to do 25 yards freestyle, then 25 yards backstroke then rest a few minutes to catch my breath. My 1000 yards takes about 60 minutes. I have to start somewhere!
My next goal is 1100 yards (one kilometer) per day, and then work on speed.
BTW, where can I get the t-shirt you guys are wearing?
    😊

He must be very tall. I'm 41 and only 5'2. lost 27 pounds before. now it's getting hard to lose it now eventhough have started exercise and portion control food. probably my body is in a lot of stress and it rejected. Gonna try swimming now to lose another 33 pounds. im gonna give myself 1 year to maintain the lifestyle!

Does swimming prevent saggy skin? like i've seen cases where the person lost more than 100 pounds and developed saggy skin mainly.

Sagging skin can happen from any exercise, when you gain weight your skin stretches.. and when its gone past the point of no return, no matter what exercise you do.. the skin will sag unfortunately
however, a tiger earns their strips and I know some people with sagging skin and they say they'd rather have sagging skin, than to be obese again and potentially have a heart attack

Rapid weight loss causes saggy skin. He lost 100 pounds in a few months. Too fast for the skin to bounce back. The nutrition is maybe also not sufficient for the needs. It would make people look much older by losing volume and the skin tightness at the same time rapidly.

I know this is a totally random question and I’m not sure if anyone will respond, but what is that “work out library” shown on the iPhone that flies by?

Wow, I can’t believe you guys would even put this guy on air. I don’t know about men, but women should never EVER go below 1800 calories. You wanna lose weight? Cut out the refined sugar and unhealthy fats. More healthy carbs less fat. It’s not rocket science.
