If it’s an old ceramic coat it’s okay because there are things within the ceramic to clean up, if it’s new it’s best to just clean with normal body soap with a ph neutral ingredient to prevent from damaging the ceramic coat and if you want to add more wax/ceramic and clay it would be unnecessary but it just cleans the ceramic coating a little more.

Also use a clay liberator to better spread the clay bar evenly
