That's an expensive looking shock, was it much better than the std one?
chem599 unfortunately due to lockdown I haven’t tested the difference. The standard Ohlins you get in the Aprilia RSV4 RF 2015 is an old 2012 unit so the technology is pretty old. I am now regularly in the fast group on race tracks so hope this would be better for me. I’ll keep you posted mate .

You can soften the damping with a few clicks on the suspension

No mate, unfortunately, I didn’t weigh the shock
Did you saw a difference between TTX 36
Also are you sure for 1,5kg less than ttx36 ?
Yes , mate I weighed the shock but then different springs can have slightly different weight, yes the difference is there, the bike is much more stable on come out of corners on full throttle and also on hard braking the back moves less than before. It's more planted, or shall I say CONTACT PATCH has improved
