At 25:43 this video uses joints to lay parts flat. This technique still works but a better way is to use the new Arrange tool in Fusion 360. This video shows the updated method of laying parts flat with the arrange tool - ua-cam.com/video/jeQPJHHwVN4/v-deo.html
Just discovered your channel … Great name and excellent tutorials! The Fabrication tutorials have been particularly helpful. Unlike some of the tutorials on UA-cam, yours are clear and concise. Keep them coming … Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback, glad they helped
I use my AutoCad to create a design and send the output to the epilog machine to cut my hobby projects. What you show in this video using Fusion 360 is so good. I learnt a lot from it. I will have to watch the video a few more times so I can use this methodology on my next projects. Thank you.
Glad it helped
Please make more like this! This is great and no one else is doing this.
Thanks, let me know what you would like to see
@@WhatMakeArt Awesome! I know its simple, but ways to make different types of boxes (Stacking, sliding, articulating) is a great spring board. Having trouble wrapping my head one how to make articulating work. Any simple way would be great!

@@WhatMakeArt you’re on fire this morning. I have a lot to learn from you.
Excellent tutorial. Very well done and to the point. Thank you.
👍
Yeah, this is really good. Not sure why you're not getting more views, but if you keep doing these types of videos you're going to. Well done.
More to come!
Great video man. Hope more will come with detailed ones!
Definitely 👍
@@WhatMakeArt great news! I'll be waiting for those!
Awesome!
👍
Please go teach a paid class on this on Etsy working up from a few simple projects and introducing fusion, people will literally take you money, I mean I'm ready to pay for something like this. TY so much for posting.
Thanks for the feedback and am glad it helped 👍
Hello, could you please provide the link about how to do the post processing? Thanks!

Hi, May I know this model can be done as acrylic material?
Yes laser cutters can cut acrylic, just make sure you follow the instructions for your laser cutter, you can't make it out of polycarbonate because that has poisonous off-gassing
Thank you so much.. and also I can follow all the steps as you said for acrylic right?
Use the steps in the video for instead of plywood I can use acrylic right? Does it affect the model?
Yes, the modeling is the same

Why don't you use SOLID>MODIFY>Arrange command?
Then sketch, project items, and Save As DXF is very easy way.
There might not be that command 2 years ago.
Yes, when I need this video the arrange command did not exist. In Fusion 360, this video link shows how to use the arrange command to lay things flat ua-cam.com/video/jeQPJHHwVN4/v-deo.html
@@WhatMakeArt I see. Thanks for your kind comment.
