love how many people try and coach Steve on what to do. this man is one of the best in the audio/car game. everyone can have their different oppinions and different taste on thing's, but I personally think he's top of the line on all of his vehicles when it comes to style.
i'm not the best by far...i just have a vision and i know how i want to complete it. Never needed help from YT though haha thanks man
I havent cared about car stereos since I was in my teens, but I really enjoy your channel.. and find myself excited to see your videos. Your video storytelling has been getting better also.. your editing skills are improving.. great work.
That's the beauty of having a shop of your own... When you're not feeling lazy, you can do repairs/installs/upgrades yourself... Sometimes it's fun, when everything goes right lol
Not to mention all the hard work it took for him to get the shop in the first place
You're right about that!
those white calipers add a nice little pop to all the black. can't wait to see it rimmed up.
Damn! Those are some big ass brakes. Love it.
A lot of people are talking shit about whit but I think it looks dope asf👌🏽
Man I love see trucks or cars with bigger brakes it makes the car look more bad ass
THANK YOU for showing the fate of the black coating on the rotors. Was hoping you'd show that.
no prob. It didn't last but a couple hard stops haha! :D
you are love man. not just because of your work, but the person you are. Keep doing what you're doing. I will be there one day.
thanks fresh!!!
Hell yeah. I cant believe Cadillac still puts rear drums on those escalades. Huge upgrade over those, looks clean AF man, as always.
they aren't drums on the rear of the escalade FYI. They are disc brakes. The drum you see is the inside of the housing and it is for the E-brake.
i see. still clean AF tho
ypu are a God among men when it comes to this car game Steve. I pray you got something in store as far as a system in this beautiful machine. Some insane SQL install would be epic AF. Post those rims ASAP lol.
Nice will wood makes awesome brake kits I like that you upgrade the brakes for big wheels it's takes a bit more to stop when you have big wheels on a heavy vehicle like the caddy looking good and being safe can't argue with that!!
Good Job !!!was his top cadi, if one day i visit sacramento, like to meet his workshop would be honor...
Holy damn those rotors are as big as the wheels on my daily :D
awww no emergency brake test. looks sweeeet. cant wait for the rims to go on
Oh man, your brake rotors are bigger than my wheels! LOL
Lookin' awesome man!
thanks!!
Well done top of the line stuff all the time how it should be done, you want quality you pay and get quality, and the fact that you do it all yourself even makes it feel great when its all done. Love from Sydney Australia man.
Those white calipers looks soooo dope with all the black! Can't wait to see it with your new wheels. Good job bro!
That install was pretty smooth! Good stuff! Next up...THEM FORGIES!!!
You talk about a complete kit? That is one complete kit! I like that it's black and white also! 👍
had em powder coated white at the factory....that's why it took an extra week or 2 to get in. Thanks!!!
Nice touch! We're they black first or something? They look good! I can't wait to see the rims! I'm in suspense for what you're going to do with the audio...
i don't think they were black at first. They were just raw. Had them done at the factory. thanks!!
Thats tight as fuck! 2 piece rotors 3 piece 28s. Liking this truck alot so far.
thanks Chace bro :D
Wilwood makes some Seriously BA Brakes!!! I would love to have a set of them on my truck!
Jesus! I wish all pads would be that easy to change as your new calipers!
Everything's easier with the right tools
Wow, what a great kit. High quality stuff.
Wilwood brakes look phenomenal caddy coming along beautiful much props Steve.✌️
this thing will never see the track and it still has better brakes than my track car 😂😂
nice man! I bought those wilwood big brake 6 piston conversion kits for my 71 challenger the only difference is I got the ones for 15" wheels. The 6 piston calipers just look sick as hell though
Surprised to see the ol' snipe on the ratchet trick.. If it was me my first port of call would've been the breaker bar, but I know Steve would've had his reasons for using the ratchet and a snipe, and it worked.
dude. That IS a breaker bar. Just because it is actually a jack handle doesn't mean it isn't still a breaker bar.
Those calipers are freaking HUGE!! Oh.. And pretty fucking DOPE!!
Can't the dust shields unbolt instead of cutting them?
not very easily. Who cares, this was fast, clean and simple.
The white calibers looks awesome on the black. Looking forward to more videos.
ш just wonder whats the cost of brakes + instalation?
You should do a video explaining why you go with an aftermarket break kit when buying larger than stock wheels
nahh sounds boring. I say ride with what ya got. My shit stopped just fine on 24's and 26's with stock brakes. It is MUCH better of course with the upgrade but i always got along fine without them.
+meade916 bet
am i the only one who would want to see a super sleek LOUD system in the Escalade??? VIP BASS!
Cant wait to see the fucking sound system build for the caddy, its going to be nuts
Thing of Beauty
That's my goals once I leave collage 👍🏼 keep up the good job Steven!
Cant wait till u install some beats up In the caddy!! Upgraded charging and power system with the slap in the back!
Absolutely love your Cadillac. I want one so bad looks good man keep up the great work!
Those are some sweet looking brakes. I am also looking to get some Wilwoods for my old bucket.
I just bought some Wilwoods... lol
Just can't wait to have car to order them in the future
4am here but who cares there's a new video 😊
Dam. Now that's how you throw some brakes on a wip! Def some $3 or $4 grand in brakes. Unless maybe a dealer. But definitely best brakes around
So whens she getting some subs? i know its coming lol
Big fan bro. Would love to see another build series like the Taho.
Them brakes should help it stop when the weight starts gettn put in
wanted to see the stock vs willwood comparison:(but still good video
wow those new brakes are massive
I really like all the upgrade to the truck. I need you family discount at Wildwood to order my set.
thanks! no discounts, if you want the brakes you gotta work for them I guess. Why did you hit like on your own comment?
nice to see you butchered up the dust shields why didn't you take the time to just remove them. good to see you cutting corners
this is how they tell you to do it STUPID FUCK. No go crawl back into your corner and continue to do nothing with your life like usual. Here is a great link for you to click, stupid fuck ua-cam.com/video/rEUUk8sqSCQ/v-deo.htmlm54s
That wht/blk kit is KILLER looking I am shocked to see them fit with the stock wheels. I have one question, What POWER adder are you gonna do? Super Charger or TURBO?
He said that he may have it supercharged in the future.
+Flat4Buggy 2 cool, I knew he was considering something.
dammit it stave you never cease to make my wife jealous. she mad when i sit her for religiously waiting and checking for new episodes, lol! fuck it tho! good shit bro!
Looks like GM changed the Control Arms - on your 2015 Escalade is Aluminum upper and lower Control Arms
my 2017 is Stamped Steel upper and Lower
Wow! that color combo looks great! This thing is going to be super nice!
those brakes are massive
nice ratchet extension!! way easier to drop the pipe than look for shorter ratchet.. (they like to hide when needed) lol
Looks Great !
Those look nice! Ah man, so much easier to replace break pads with those, you don't even have to remove the caliper!!!
6pot front and 4pot rear must feel amazing!
it is very hard to describe how nice it really is. It isn't just a fast stop but a smooth, effortless stop. You don't get that big front end dip when you slam on them either. It all stops nice and even. They are great :D
The brakes look amazing man!! Great choice. I might get these for my Escalade as well.
those roders look badass, i imagine you wouldn't replace them nearly as much as regular roters?
probably will never replace them.
Steve I've been subscribed for a while keep up the good work love your videos
That's exactly what I did for my 13 Yukon XL on Lexani Lust
lets see.
Awesome! These brakes should be a factory option! What brake lines did you use? And, how did you secure them?
Only the best.. I like your style
those white calipers are nice make it stand out nicely.
thanks a lot!!
+meade916 I still keep getting big laughs at everyone trying to tell you what to do and you doing it wrong, I didn't know there was so much professional mechanics on UA-cam all of a sudden.
their comments are gone and i didn't delete them. I warned them to apologize before i made them look foolish but they wanna push the issue. SMH. lol
Steve, when are we getting a taste of what sounds are going in the caddy
i have no idea. I am so busy at the shop i don't even know when i can start.
Are u gonna lower the caddy with any type of shocks ? Bet would look badass
Does the bleeding of brakes on the Escalade requires a special machine or can they be blended the traditional way with a regular pump bleeder. Tnx.
Looks awesome and I'm sure will look even better with the new rims!
Looking good Steve! I hope to see the white powder coat hold up; I want to coat my Brembos white. I didn't see any crossover tubes, are those mono block calipers?
Damn Steve you should of disassembled your hubs to take the dust shields off WOW. I wouldn`t be cutting stuff off a 70K+ SUV. That`s a lot of $$$$$$$$ for those brakes. *CONGRATS* Be safe brother awesome SUV and keep the videos coming.
the instructions tell you to cut it the way i did. But thanks anyway for telling me what i should have done! :)
Good to go brother. that`s a beast of a set up to $$$$$$$ my pockets for now. Happy Memorial Day.
Good to go
How does it feel after? I would imagine it would be hard to get used to if you were used to the old brakes...
them some bigass brakes ...love the white calipers. ..oowwee 28"s
Nice Car , Nice Brakes , Nice new RIMS , good job STEV !
Nice to watch your videos ! :) Greetings from POLAND :)
thanks Neon!
Great video. Just a quick question please. Can the stock wheels be used with these brakes on the 2015 Escalade?
I want wilwoods on my truck now! and 2 SMD 18 v2s
dust shields..... what a pain in the ass. damn nice kit though, wish i could get something like that for my car.
did my brakes today and it's only a single piston up front and drums in the back..looking at that setup those rotors are Massive! Out of curiosity what's the curb weight on that Cadillac?
www.google.com bro
It would not pass the inspection, without the dust covers here in Europe :P
looking good man looking good I'll be back next week
Those are some nice brakes!
Brakes*
oooops!
+RGFL !! brakes**
I never seen calipers slide on so easily!
Can't wait till you Lower it
I have been waiting for this video!!
Nice setup! How much did that big brake kit cost you?
+meade916 Sweet brake setup! How long did it actually take to cut all four guards off the hubs?
Did u use black spacers in the rear calipers?
I’m also looking to upgrade the brakes on my 2015 escalade.
Did you end up losing your auto braking feature for parking and for cruise control?
are you doing any performance upgrades now that you did the break upgrade?
looks good! I'm not sure if you said it but how much was everything?
if you don't mind me asking
Hey Steve Usually you see guys put safety wire thru the nuts of the front calipers after they torque them down or that's just for race applications?
my old Wilwoods (on the Tahoe) are like that. These ones are newer and don't require that. I double checked.
I heard blinker fluid was expensive for Escalades.
hey bro can u help me out here i got 3...600wt amps pulling off one line and d fuse is a 100 amp fuse is dat good or does it need higher fuse??..thanks
Love it! 28? so nice......
did you buy this as a complete kit?
Also, how or where can I get the caliber relocation bracket?
Looks good. Did you safety wire the hub bolts?
nope. No need on this set.
are you going to bag it out like the Tahoe?
whats a good amp that pushes out true 2000 watts of power?
I'd say get the b2 2500
love your videos meade916
Like always you the man meade👌🏼
