Holy.... crap... I didn't know there was footage of these guys until someone in my comments section pointed it out. And I cannot explain how CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED THIS SHOW WAS!!!!! From the stage doing 360s to the guest interaction and the jokes, this show is insane. I hope we find the location of them someday, I would love to see them live on.
I am guessing that the system that ran the Family Album had a collection of reel, so like you'd plop the next song reel oh wanted to play into the reel to reel player while using your voice to chat while getting the next song ready, it's also obvious the trio could interact with guests, I think that was the goal, to make a show where the characters could interact more than in the other locations. Sadly I guess the fact that there was just a collection of songs and a cast member having to run this test stage was too much for the stores but I hope someone recreates them some day.
I didn't think these animatronics would actually interact with the guests visiting the Pizza Time Theatre to see them, that's interesting, one day when I do some time travelling in 2099 to check out what things were like in the 80s because I would like to see these return in person.
They absolutely did. I saw them all the time in Warwick, Rhode Island. There was a guy behind a 2 sided mirror in a booth that controlled them between songs.
In Warwick, these guys were the main band in the main room. There were several rooms. Another had a very very deep ball pit and another had "The King" animatronic. The CEC characters only appeared later in posters as you'd order your pizza.
The company that made these animatronics started off by making puppets so that makes a lot of sense Also you’re right these do look like the Team America and LazyTown puppets
It was actually the coolest thing live!! They'd call out the birthday kids name and ask them questions and everything! We all loved them as kids. Much more advanced and interactive!
@@CECWorld omg so they are the same ones from the previous recordings found? i see they are all dressed up in christmas outfits :O i love them so much they are so awesome,, i hope one day the band resurfaces somewhere, in any condition i dont care id just kill to see them in person ;-;
Denver's MA had a Family Album planted in the back of the Showroom. The location here is Warwick RI's Pizza Time Theater because their Family Album was placed in the middle of the Dinning Room
Yes this was Warwick, RI. The stage was constantly rotating and we'd all dance around it. They'd interact with us and took requests. The stage curtains would go down between sets, which were like a real band. On for an hour or so, off for about a half hour. It was like magic.
As someone who was fortunate enough to been able to grow up with showbiz and the rock afire at my location and now chuck e cheese and big into animatronics i never heard of them until now where arw they currently located are they still in operation
@@squirrele.1266 It did close, it relocated from Post Road in Warwick to Bald Hill Plaza in 1991 and received a road Stage, sometime later it relocated to it's current location in September 1999.
Make sure to tune into the premiere on June 12th at 10 AM!

@@drewmichael001 do you have photos and videos?
@@christoperswinehart7504 I wish I did 😪
Singing Every Breath You Take at a family restaurant - definitely would NOT fly today.
This is still really cool to see, though.
I mean Disney had a show that had a parody of this song until 2004
@@coltonandjen could you link a video
It would be fine, song is fine
Why? What?
How
They actually look realistic and actually look like real humans.
Yeah the cool thing about them was that they’d interact with the audience like real people and take song requests
And that scares me
@@RandomTornado124 you know those are just animatronics, right?
@@michaelbonner4126 i know there are they just look to real
Creepy and fascinating at the same time!😀😬
Well I hope someday these animatronics will be found
I still look at this vid from time to time, pretty cool for a PTT, especially compared to their Cyberamics
Mozzie.
What a fascinating concept and show! I really hope these guys are out there somewhere... did they also have a regular PTT stage with PTT characters?
I think they did, not entirely sure though.

I hope that these characters still exist somewhere and get rediscovered one day. 😊
Me to
To tell you the truth the family album Characters remind me of lazy town puppets. Remember that show
Same
I think they look like the thunderbirds and team america world police but yes they do look like lazy town Puppets
The company that made these animatronics started off by making puppets so that makes a lot of sense
Also you’re right these do look like the Team America and LazyTown puppets
Wow They Move Like So Lifelike They Almost Move Like Real People.
How did these kids not get scared
It was actually the coolest thing live!! They'd call out the birthday kids name and ask them questions and everything! We all loved them as kids. Much more advanced and interactive!
And kids used to run around the animatronics in a sircle so they can see them perform
Right😬😂
@@drewmichael001It's cool to see now as an adult... but it definitely would have scared me as a kid!
@@briggie28 I loved them! They were such a novelty. I loved how they could interact with the audience directly and take "requests" like a real band!
I had just learned about these guys today. Its actually incredibly impressive for a PTT show.
If minions were in pizza time theatre, we could see them playing games
OMG I DIDNT THINK THERE WAS FOOTAGE!!
Wow
Wow 🤩 😯 had no idea about these guys until now
do u know which location they are at? the family albums my favourite animatronic show and im so excited there was more footage found of them

the guitarist looks a little like michael carbanaro
But sound like Gordy quist
I assume this footage was from December 1987 or 1988.
these should be mine

Yes
What the hell am I looking at
Your looking at an old rare animatronic band that rotates in a circle and interacts with there audience
Honestly impressive for a PTT show

Yeah cause it's placed in Center of the dinning room. Warwick's my local CEC and I've been going since 2018
