Maaaaan, seeing this and comparing it to my 2 days of trying to kill the boss ON SURVIVOR DIFFICULTY makes me feel baaaad. Awesome vid, i wish i can master the dodge someday, hope they make an amulet where it restricts you health to 1hp and gives you like plus 100% crit weakspot damage or something.

I hate/love this boss dude. Reached him in Apocalypse finally but got the worst possible combo of elemental resist and hearty. Plus remembering his patterns is so frustrating. Really cool how you were calling out every instance to keep a mental note of his move when returning to the shadow realm. GG dude. Looking at you gives me hope.

@@Krosladar yea hearty + empathy too. But my build did revolve around fire so it kinda forced me to use Nightfall. Eventually got it though.

@@MorikTheRed 3 manning the Annihilation on Apoc difficulty is the raid as he warps you vack and forth between zones.
@@pikachu2003 I was more thinking of the maze boss added a sniper some kind of a boss. Having players running around stepping on plates

yeah...i feel it has gotten better...since Remnant 1, but its still very underwhelming.
Tis a shame. I did my first playthrough with Challenger and mostly melee. Managed to get numbers like 9k weakspot crits and the burst+stagger feels amazing while still being tanky...but can only hit half the bosses

Seems crazy to me given how much equipment they put in the game for melee possibilities, all of which are rendered useless for so many bosses
I mean the game is littelary darksouls with guns, thats like complaining u dont get an ak in dark souls

the game literally gives you tons of melee mods and a melee focussed class...
so its obvious that people expect this build to be working in most of the games content

basicly there is only no hit defeat of this boss. All hits kills you ish almost :S Im at him now, just been her a few hours. Health 155 armor 163 and most attacks 1 shot me :) So its no hit or back to start :D
now we just need the hardcore apoc run

@@zaimanity8893 HC apoc isn't even that difficult. Took me 4 characters and a total of 7 hours spanned across all of them in total. The run ended on 2 hours and 16 minutes.

Meanwhile... I'm making a build to see how I can take the most damage and survive.
run challenger with engineer subtype. I hit the max DR on accident.
max dr and hp regen is probably the best build you can make to take dmg and survive, especially for Apocalypse difficulty. I still need Tranquil Heart to finish my Tank Regen build.

Lol stay on survivor, I just beat the game, tried veteran. Kinda stupid.
Everything maxed, now my guns barely do damage, for the same loot lol

I already beat the game twice, there’s no point in playing the higher difficulties.
You can’t further max your guns past the max cap, so you just end up dumping 4x the amount of ammo on people.
Also, the loot doesn’t even change.
So I don’t really get the hype.
It’s pretty corny.

@justtdreww True , it is a huge waste of time, until unless you want to take on that challenge and have a lot of free time on hand. it does have a few new weapon on higher difficulty, but that is just useless ( I mean it's not something that you absolutely need to have in game).

I can't beat this boss. My weapons do a massive amount of damage, the problem is I can't avoid his freaking attacks. I can dodge a few of them, but once those fire pits start popping up it's pretty much instant death.

I feel like on apoc you can't get hit. I haven't played it yet but I play with a half health build too. So I really can't get hit. On apoc if you got hit by any big or medium attacks unless your tanking wouldn't you just die?
If you get hit by anything other than the beams while fighting the dragon you will die in one hit, fighting in the glitched area of phase 2 isn't as dangerous, nothing he does is a one shot it's mainly just to set up traps that you forget about when you warp back.

Final Boss just Trash on Multiplayer.
First Phase still ok, but you do no damage in the Second Phase just because the Boss gets like tripple HP in it and if you are unlucky you can´t even damage him, just because of the Teleportation he does.
The TP´s are random and it could happen that you can´t even damage him once because of him TP you like every 3 secs.
I tried him in Multiplayer with Friends and they always get 1 or 2 shot from him.
Then i tried it on a Solo Champagne to and he was Finished really fast and i only needed 1 Try to do it Solo.
feel like this game has gunplay similar (but inferior) to Division 2, and the game structure of Destiny or something else. great game

I found I do better damage with the typewriter and using Corrosive rounds for better crit chance and bandit +10 mutator
yea corrosive is way more dps than fire rounds, this guy seems to be pro at the game but didnt upgrade from a mod you get at lvl 1?
@@qbertgaming theres more value too learning a boss fully then min maxing your dps, if he has enough to kill it 8 mins without being hit, an extra 2 without being hit is nothing

If you have the time/patience and drive to try out and learn this game its definitely an experience I'd recommend you to take. Especially with some good buddies, the memories you'll have on this game are truly somethin special.

I hate to say it but it’s PC this boss fight is aids for console I’ve done the entire campaign with NO HIT on Xbox but this fight literally isn’t possible on console. FPS it’s more bipolar that a schizophrenic with bipolar
played with a mate on pc yesterday on survivor and kept dying instantly on phase transition and the attacks would be telegraphed after the attack was already done, drove me up the wall. my nightmare clear was genuinely easier than that rage inducing bugfest, but because all my stuff was maxed, the world level was 21, and his guns were like +4 max with basic mutators, buddy was doing his best just to stay in phase, and I was doing my best not to be spawned off of the gd platform lol
