That is awesome man! I went from 276lbs to being stuck at 237lbs for the last couple years. I suffer from gout and that has been real bad. I was given levofloxacin just 2 pills last week and that has put me in a wheelchair. I was giving up on life until this video.

DDP is a true hero. The things he has done to help people is incredible. He deserves to be recognized. This is really inspiring. Butterbean is a warrior. He always has been.
I'm a resident of Bay City, MI and I just wanted to put out there that Art Dore purchased and renovated a local abandoned mall and now allows a *free* children's school for severely disabled children to operate out of it. My daughter attends that school and loves it. God bless Art Dore, Toughman, and Butterbean!
That’s the sign of a good man. He doesn’t go around telling these accomplishments himself, those he helped tell of his generosity. God bless your daughter and yourself friend. Thanks for sharing.
Seeing Bean run is absolutely epic! I never took him serious, but seeing his life story and the pain he went through!? I have mad respect for his achievement with this. 👏
Thank you folks for sticking with him and believing in him, and most importantly loving the man that we loved watching beat in heads for years! Him and Holyfield were my boxing heroes when I was younger, and to see him year's ago turned into what he had was sad! Then the evolution of butterbean by ddp was amazing and made me happy for him! Once again for helping him! It's been an honor to drive down to his restaurant in Alabama from here in Chattanooga and get to meet him and chat with a guy that's genuine, nice and talked to my kids like he had known them for years! What an amazing man and transformation, plus the food at his establishment is really good folks, check it out sometime!
Christ have mercy, that MMA warrior went airborn to drop kick Butterbean, and he just bounced off of Butterbean. Butterbean is truly a human tank, a unit of power.
@Tron-JockeyLol, not. He fought long after that fight. Holmes had to change to rules from 4 rounds to 10 rounds to benefit him. Holmes would want no part of an mma fight. He couldn't finish Ali with Parkinsons.
This gave me goosebumps. I had no idea Butterbean had fallen on such hard times. Dallas has changed so many people's lives. Guess it's time to contact him an see what he can do with this old war horse. I may not be famous like Eric, but I was a soldier, police officer/Firefighter/and paramedic fighting for those who couldn't. May not be glamorous but I tried to help people. Now I'm pushing 70 and have artificial parts and live in constant pain. At 6'4 and 330 pounds and growing I need to do something. This video is inspiring to me. We'll see if being on a fixed income can afford DDP Yoga or not.
May God give you the strength to do whatever it takes my friend. What journey starts with but the first step.. Now suck it up and do the less painful things first.. But make sure you start with small goals and keep your head up hi !!!
Even without DDP's help, the best thing you can do is invest in yourself. Bite the bullet and pay for a personal trainer and setup a schedule with this person that you will be accountable to. For example, mon, wed. fri. at 10am. Standing appointment commitment to meet your trainer. You can do it, a trainer will help. I need to do the same commitment myself. We can do it.

Bro.. seeing butterbean nearly cry just trying to move broke me down. Knowing how powerful he once was. Father Time comes for us all and there’s nothing any of us can do. Respect.

I've heard more than one wrestler or mma guy say ddp helped them out of their toughest spots. I don't get all gooey over famous people but someone who uses his resources to help out other people for the simple reason that he knows what they're going through and seems like the real deal... yeah that to me is how God would want people to live.
Fucking truth dude. So glad DDP is such a beacon of hope and positivity after him being one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid. So many of the pro wrestlers turn out to be bad guys behind the scenes
we have all these philanthrocapitalists getting praise for what is in effect tax write off and ulterior motives behind their actions. DDP is so pure and benevolent. This gem of a man cannot be celebrated enough.
I am a physician. This man did what I knew could be done. The key word being DID. He had help, but HE did it. To see the sparkle back in that man’s eye is glorious. Way to go cowboy! My prayer is that at least one person sees this and is inspired to do the same then pass it on. I’ve seen it done before by lesser known men but to see this man’s man pull it off should be the spark to set the wheels in motion for others. He whipped everybody’s ass including his own!
I understand pain, depression and the loss of everything. Never stop fighting and endure through it all. It is what makes us stronger. God bless everyone.
As a 73 yr old who just had a hip replacement, I've watched Butterbean for years. I just love the good people around him who didn't let him give up, what angels these friends are. God bless them, and Butterbean.
This man is a legend. Im so happy he was able to turn himself around, use to love watching Butterbean fight as a kid. Such a warm hearted , humble human being.
Ha, stimmt. I think it's because they showed some of his boxing on the biggest german Sport channel at the time, "eurosport". And once you saw the bean you couldnt forget him.
I love Eric. It was such an absolute pleasure to watch him box in the '90s and early '00s. And now, That warrior has taken himself straight out of the grave and fought his way back. Love that guy.
Yes sir, brother. I didn't actually shed any tears, but I did have to hold them back. Bean always struck me as a good man, and this 💎 dude came along and SAVED HIS LIFE!!! FKN' GOOD SHIT! 🎉❤🎉💯🥳🎈
I met DDP at FOB Marez (Mosule) Iraq. He invited me to check out one of his classes with the Army, but I had to work that evening. He seemed so genuine and I was just thrilled that he stopped to talk with me for a few minutes. Totally made my day. Who knew three months later I'd herniate C4 - C6 at Al Asad AB. LOL. If I didn't need DDPs class before I sure could have used it post surgery. DDP, thank you for taking the time to talk with me. It means so much to me and so many of our troops.
My Dad was 6’3” 280 we loved watching Buttbean together. He’s a true warrior. Thank you for sharing your greatest personal victory other than your family with us.
I love butter bean. The dude is the every mans hero. And when he said "I'm good now" THANK YOU DDP. You are as close to an angel as we get in this world.
Butter bean was an unstoppable juggernaut for many years I watched as many fights as possible just to see this powerful veteran of the Gon. He's a smart man and I think he is taking his health more seriously for the benefit of his family. He is a living legend long live butter bean
Bean!! I'm so DAMN PROUD of you, sir!! The determination on your face pushing forward and seeing where you are now…..unbelievable…… you are a champion in life! 🫡🫡🙏
I ain't gonna lie, tears are pouring down my face. I hated DDP back in the AWA and sneered when he became an actual wrestler, and then a top guy in WCW, but I absolutely love him now for what he has done for so many people. And especially for how he brought The Bean back from the edge of the grave to actually be in fighting trim again! I never would have believed it possible, and am beyond inspired. Thank you DDP and congrats Eric, you deserve this ressurection, you've sure as hell worked for it!
I've been watching combat sports since the 70's. I've seen all the greats like Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, and Holyfield. In my opinion, Butterbean is one of the toughest people to ever step into a boxing ring.
Tough to watch a man who could literally punch you out of your own skin sink to such physical and emotional lows. A wonderful transition to a new man is an inspirational watch.
I have terminal cancer. I face serious obstacles daily. It's all about attitude and a will to live. This video is a great example of making things happen. I have done this a few times while going through my cancer obstacles. Hats off to both butterbean and DDP for making this happen.!!
Butterbean is the epitome of the kind giant. He was one of the most intimidating men in the world at one point but he has the kindest heart and deserves this second chance with his family. It's also so cool to see everything DDP has done for all of these legends.
I like this guy so much, he's such a nice guy and so simple, not one of those arrogant, out of touch, aloof stars. For me personally, he's a good example that I look up to with respect. It was so sad to see him broken like that.
I’m 47 too, disabled vet. 5 years into my total journey, 2 years adding exercise. 277-159, built back up to 172. I’ll give you the only rule you need to follow. Don’t quit, even if you’re not seeing results. The body is made in the kitchen! Eat right! Sugar is addictive! The government allows these additives as it lowers population and makes people dependent on big pharma! You’re worth it. NO ONE else will invest into you.
I am struggling with my weight, chronic pain and depression. Watching Butterbean go from the top, to the bottom, and then bounce back like this, it's an inspiration. Thank you DDP and Butterbean for sharing this journey.
I didn't use DDP yoga. But the ads inspired me back in 2018. 2 years after falling off a cliff, I was pretty broken. I was using a walking stick everywhere I went. I had back surgeries that weren't helping. Physical therapy that wasn't getting me anywhere. And the final solution from the Dr was just pain pills. I didnt want that to be my life. I was depressed. I saw ads for DDP yoga and I saw people getting their life back. So I started doing yoga on my own. I am back to 100% today. I run, I jump, I do everything I used to do and more. I can't thank you enough for inspiring me and showing me the way.
Best most affordable way is get a gym membership that offers Yoga classes with the membership, and go every day. You can jump in any Yoga class as a total beginner and flail around, instructor will give you tips, you pick things up by watching... just don't be afraid to look like you are a beginner when you are beginning

The first of which did permanent nerve damage to me right leg. DDPY has given me the ability to play with my daughter again on her level. I’m still in constant pain but I can get off the floor unassisted now. Making it possible to play with her. Watching Butterbean’s transformation brought a tear to my eyes and strengthen my resolve to not give up. Thank you Sir.
I'm 35 and went through a divorce that killed my will. I then injured my back and shoulder so basically gave up and said to myself "I guess this is life". Butterbean and DDP are inspiring.
I had never seen Butterbean in a wheelchair, I had the image of him in Jackass absolutely demolishing Johnny Knoxville, so seeing him the way he WAS was a complete shock. Blessed to see him back in fighting shape, as strong as ever. Hell yeah DDP, thanks for bringing back our hero!

Mr Butterbean was always that one boxer that I could never miss watching a single fight. Something about him always enthralled me. These DDP Yoga transformation videos are the most powerful, inspirational videos I have ever seen. Thank you DDP and everyone who's brave enough to fight and share your story. Every one of you are absolute legends.
Starting his career in pro wrestling at nearly 40 and becoming a main eventer, DDP accomplished something that was once thought impossible. It took a lot of work and tenacity that very few people naturally have in them. It is a gift, and I am glad that DDP found a way to harness that gift and use it to unlock that same tenacity in others. He is using it for something good, and making a difference in the world. I'll be here to cheer DDP and Butterbean on. I wish them the best.
I live close to Jasper. Back in the mid 90’s I went to a tough man contest with some friends. That was the first time I met Eric and watched him literally beat everyone. Years later he is in Vegas and before you know it the name Butterbean is known in many countries. I’m praying for him to find his way forward. He is a great person always polite! He is a warrior! He will 100% reach his goals moving forward! Great video.
This actually brought tears to my eyes. 15 years ago when I was in the Canadian Air Force tore a disc in 2 places, and spent 2 years in agony. The physio, accupuncture etc was barely working. The thing that saved me was the core conditioning class they started, which used selected yoga exercises, it brought me back to the point where I was no longer on a medical category. I still do the exercises. Keep it up DDP!
Met him earlier this year. Gave me a set of Pride gloves, career advice, and even shared his pizza recipe. I was always a big fan but even more now. Helluva guy!

He is an exceptional human being who all of us cant help but admire for all these years :-)
Wow that was deep. Ain’t gonna lie it brought a little tear to my eyes. Tough, humble, great perseverance.

This definitely was incredible! ❤💪
That is so inspiring. I'm at that point where I just gave up. But after seeing this, I'm gonna start trying again. Wish me luck. Thanks a bunch.

I'm a resident of Bay City, MI and I just wanted to put out there that Art Dore purchased and renovated a local abandoned mall and now allows a *free* children's school for severely disabled children to operate out of it. My daughter attends that school and loves it. God bless Art Dore, Toughman, and Butterbean!
thats impressive. thanks for letting me know about that
@@kevinbuda7087 he deserves the credit! he makes those kids very happy!
That’s the sign of a good man. He doesn’t go around telling these accomplishments himself, those he helped tell of his generosity.
God bless your daughter and yourself friend. Thanks for sharing.
Very happy for you. I can’t imagine some of the stress you have had to go through. May peace be with you and your family always 🙏🏻
Thank you for this - I’m typically skeptical about promoters and managers, many are sleazy. Glad to know Art Dore does good things.😊
I know! I took screenshots of that shit! 👏 Amazing!
@Tron-JockeyLol, not. He fought long after that fight. Holmes had to change to rules from 4 rounds to 10 rounds to benefit him. Holmes would want no part of an mma fight. He couldn't finish Ali with Parkinsons.
@Tron-Jockeyyet a fat, side show performer, who was a one trick pony, went the distance. Not bad for all that
Sht larry stayed back and out scord him on points no toe to toe stuff@Tron-Jockey
Send them an email, you never know. You're a vet, I bet they'd love to help.
Thank you for your service.
to start you need to lose massive amounts of blubber.
if you lost 170 lbs, just about every single one of your issues go away.
@an0therdimensi0n99 your a particularly nasty troll 😅

We love you, Butterbean! Take care of yourself and eat healthy organic foods!
Bro.. seeing butterbean nearly cry just trying to move broke me down. Knowing how powerful he once was. Father Time comes for us all and there’s nothing any of us can do. Respect.
Yeah butterbean is our child hood underdog. He will always live in our hearts!
"And there's nothing any of us can do." That's a defeatist's mentality. You want to know WHAT you can do? You can put down the beer, stop eating the fast food, get in the gym and train as hard as you can for as long as you can. There is a difference between letting life and time destroy you and aging gracefully.
DDP deserves a goddamn nobel prize for the lives of so many of our childhood icons he has personally saved!
Say it again.DIAMOND FUCKING RULES
I've heard more than one wrestler or mma guy say ddp helped them out of their toughest spots.
I don't get all gooey over famous people but someone who uses his resources to help out other people for the simple reason that he knows what they're going through and seems like the real deal... yeah that to me is how God would want people to live.
Fucking truth dude. So glad DDP is such a beacon of hope and positivity after him being one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid. So many of the pro wrestlers turn out to be bad guys behind the scenes
@aaronbaron3155 facts
we have all these philanthrocapitalists getting praise for what is in effect tax write off and ulterior motives behind their actions.
I’m a family physician. This man f**ed his body
I understand pain, depression and the loss of everything. Never stop fighting and endure through it all. It is what makes us stronger. God bless everyone.
Big lump in my throat. This guy I watched as a kid and loved was just left to rot. Glad someone helped this legend.
As a german kid from the nineties i can tell you all of us knew him over here.He is a legend!!!!

Bean!! I'm so DAMN PROUD of you, sir!! The determination on your face pushing forward and seeing where you are now…..unbelievable…… you are a champion in life! 🫡🫡🙏
I've always respected Butterbean for his attitude, wherein he fights to entertain the crowd first and to win second.

Yep same here. Butterbean was my hero growing up. A killer in the ring and a down to earth good man outside it.
DDP is an amazing person. Just remember those "Characters" that they play, and not the actual person.
Congratulations bean!! You done good ! DDP you done good !

If you hated DDP, he did his job as a heel. I like what he's done after wrestling though. I wish him the best..
This was cool
I've been watching combat sports since the 70's. I've seen all the greats like Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, and Holyfield. In my opinion, Butterbean is one of the toughest people to ever step into a boxing ring.
Seeing Butterbean smile is the best part of this video!
Wholesome comment
Looking for something to live for instead of waiting to die.... Prophetic. I pray Bean gets his quality of life back.
He did. Did you see the Evolution of Butterbean photo?

The human spirit is stronger than the human body. The force is strong with this one. Good for you. You are an inspiration for us all.
That's awesome, congratulations!
That's fantastic brother. Is there a particular UA-camr you watched ? Or did you go to a actual yoga type gym ?
How old are you btw?
Best most affordable way is get a gym membership that offers Yoga classes with the membership, and go every day. You can jump in any Yoga class as a total beginner and flail around, instructor will give you tips, you pick things up by watching... just don't be afraid to look like you are a beginner when you are beginning
I like yoga with Adrienne but theres loads. I just think shes cute lol. Shes got loads of 30 days of yoga playlists. its good, just dedicate yourself to do it every day for 30 days. Its only like 15 or 20 mins a day. I do it in the evening, feels great going to bed afterwards. @@oldmanemptyhouse7659

Starting his career in pro wrestling at nearly 40 and becoming a main eventer, DDP accomplished something that was once thought impossible. It took a lot of work and tenacity that very few people naturally have in them.
Love and respect from Australia. What a great story . Always liked watching butter bean in the ring .
Met him earlier this year. Gave me a set of Pride gloves, career advice, and even shared his pizza recipe. I was always a big fan but even more now. Helluva guy!
What are pride gloves if I may ask?
@@SaRkAsMuSoNe-They are the gloves used in the PRIDE Fighting Championships, which was a Mixed Martial Arts organisation in Japan. It went defunct in 2007 or so, but started in the late 90s.
It’s often called the golden era of MMA for the talent, fights, and possibly the presentation (nobody does it like PRIDE/DREAM/RIZIN - all MMA companies with the same owner, only RIZIN exists now but it is doing pretty alright, I think).
@@SaRkAsMuSoNe- Pride was wild, loose rules, most entertaining MMA try and look up some fights.
Good ol pride fighting promotion. They allowed headstomps when the opponent was down. Knees and elbows as well. Savage promotion but really let the best shine.@@SaRkAsMuSoNe-
