After seeing your lovely video of walking in Central Park, I looked on Google Earth Street View, and followed a path a fair way round the lake. It's amazing how large it is, and SO green ! Thousands of trees !🙂💜💐🌳🥀🌿🙂.
I'm always amazed at how lovingly and spookily the houses are decorated for Halloween. I particularly liked the last house in your video, it was the house with the black witch hats in the trees, because it radiated such a beautiful, evil elegance. Alice, you're right, Central Park is really beautiful at any time of year. When I come in 5 weeks, all the beautiful spookiness will be over and the trees will be bare. Maybe I'll be lucky and the first snow will fall in the park, but in any case everything will be decorated for Christmas, which is also something very special every year. I won't mind the cold, the main thing is that it doesn't rain all the time so that I can't do and see as much as I'd like. I'm excited and looking forward to the pre-Christmas period in NYC. Hello Alice, I used to love walking and until disabilities took over my body, I did it on a daily basis. Though I can no longer walk far or long, I found out I could cycle (at home). I always wanted to travel, but due to my limitations, could not follow my dream. BUT after numerous searches on UA-cam I came across yours and other walking tours from around the world. I bought a large screen HD TV, put my cycle at eyelevel right in front of it and peddle away! It maybe only a virtual way to travel, but It has made all the difference both psychologically and physically. Because of you and others who film their tours, I have been around the world to places I so wanted to visit and places I've never seen before. I find your videos in particular quite beautiful. The scenes and walks you film are picturesque and paced wonderfully, taking in and the sights and stopping at places as if I was really there. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!

I visited New York this September and often thought of your NYC walking videos Alice. They're the best, always enjoying them. I also want to add one thing about NYC: There's a huge lack of public toilettes there, which I think is a big problem for touris. Anyway. Still a great city with a great atmosphere.
