Yaa thats actually a thing and i have seen it as a medic, where Rapists are licensed to carry and use a 38 or a glock to pin you in a corner and do their business
There sure are a lot of people saying you should just have a gun. Here are some facts: 1) If everyone has a gun, nobody is safer. 2) If we're assuming that the woman can have a gun, then the man attacking her would also have a gun and would start the whole thing by holding her at gunpoint. 3) Even if the woman had a gun and the attacker didn't, she should still probably have pepper spray or an alarm. There's no reason not to carry those just in case. 4) The average person will have zero chances to use a gun in self defense, but hundreds of chances to get angry or scared and ruin their life in a split second. A gun is far more likely to land you in prison than it is to save you.
Pepper spray is only good when the wind is not blowing and even then you can still get blowback. And it sucks when you get blowback or which can be worse is when the pepper spray disengages in your purse or pocket and is sprayed accidentally that burns like hell.
Imma be honest since when I get in a situation where I need to escape, I usually have pepper spray, keys, and a small knife. Whichever I’m able to grab first is gonna be the one I use. With the keys you wanna put them between your fingers so wolverine style so you can jab at them. It’s not that slow to do so if you practice grabbing them quickly
I assume you're a woman, my advice as a male, don't get in a fight with a male if you can avoid it because real life ain't movies. Brandishing a knife will get you stabbed because it is almost sure you will have to guts to actually use it and you will lose it, keys are useless. Just stick to the pepper spray, spray him and run fast and try to yell or reach a crowded place.
NO! Do not put your keys between your fingers like the wolverine style. The keys would bend back and potentially tear your skin. When using keys for self-defense, just pinch it like a little sword.
This is good.. but it is also good to know that kubatons are considered prohibited weapons in certain states. For example, a kubaton is considered an impact weapon in Oklahoma, which is prohibited under state law - meaning you can be arrested for possession of a kubaton in Oklahoma.
Eventually the screeching device will alert someone to the false confident victims body.. unless the attacker takes the time to crush the cheap plastic trinket, or the batteries expire.. like the over confident victim.

1) Why on earth are you spraying thin air and NOT the assailant? You should be spraying his forehead, eyes, nose, mouth. 2) What about countries like the UK where pepper sprays or stun guns even possessed at home will get you 3+ years jail? And any item in public, even if legal, but intended for self-defence is illegal e.g. that kubotan, keys where you intend them to be used to defend yourself, etc
Same in NYC. We have to be creative and take the chance of arrest vs being assaulted. Even a 1 cm knife blade is illegal if it locks into place! Slingshots can carry a sentence of up to 7 years in prison. When biking, each of us carries a large spanner. Perfectly acceptable tool for cyclists, Officer. When they study late, our oldest son and daughter carry 51 cm baseball bats in their book bags. And they have a rubber ball tossed in there in case they are questioned. Perfectly acceptable sporting equipment, Officer. My wife keeps a “tire thumper” (it even has that printed on it) in the front of the car. Perfectly acceptable tool to test tire pressure, Officer. If we go out running or for a walk, we do so with a half a brick in our hand or pocket. I broke some up with a hammer. If we are questioned after an incident, we’d say we picked it up by the curb to protect ourselves during the attack, Officer. Would these stop a bullet or knife? No. All we hope for is the opportunity to stun or hurt an attacker long enough to run. Our children all study Brazilian Jujitsu and MMA, and my wife and I have kickboxed for close to 20 years. We are strong and make sure to be alert of our surroundings. We’ve taught our kids to not use headphones in public, keep their phones in their pockets, look around as they walk, notice people, look at parked cars, is anyone sitting in them, turn their heads left and right, look behind if they feel uncomfortable, be prepared to strike, defend, run, and show potential attackers that they will not be caught unawares. It’s all we can do 😔
For day situation the best self-defense it atleast you need to know the basic fighting skill, human weak spots, how to punch, how to dodge, how to kick, and if you need self defense tool that not look very obvious carry a small sharp knife For night time defense: if you face only one guy a hi intensity flashlight( at least 1000 lumens (this is my standard)) will do (make sure your flashlight got strobe mode) just shines at them (hi intensity flashlight will blind human and ruin their sight for several seconds, depending on the situation) and if you don't know how to defend yourself just run with your flashlight at strobe mode to attract nearby people
A firearm. A pocketknife. You're good to go! (Recommended firearm is Glock 19, they're pretty popular. If you want a small one a Glock 24 Gen 4 will do.) For pocketknife you should get one that's spring assisted, has a seatbelt cutter if you're car goes into the water or your seatbelt is comprised. And also a glass breaker if you are again in the water. Trust me, you ain't opening that door for awhile.
Tips use a higher lumen flashlight such as those cheap ones reccomended by budget friendly preppers the ultra fire cree q5 led bursts 200 lumens with strobe which is abundant enough to impare someone's sight for a certain time as for the kubotan if its illegal in your country use a parker ALL METAL Jotter or what i use a retractable ALL METAL vector also from parker another tip for kubotans are select the right type such Is the flat one (looks like a key fob to the untrained eye)(used in the video) or blunt ones(pointed but blunt) which looks like a pen from like a few feet away the the pointed one (will attract people into thinking its a weapon but very effective)
The guard at our bank uses a retractable vector, didn't do us much good when we were robbed a couple years ago. The robber just laughed at him, said nice flashlight Gramps and continued to Rob us.
EDC: FOURSEVENS QUARK QPA PRO WITH ENELOOPS, SAWFLY GEN 2 BALLISTIC SUNGLASSES, GANZO AXIS LOCK KNIFE, OLIGHT I3S, MOTO G GEN 1, CASIO GW 6900 G-SHOCK WATCH. This is Canadian EDC so I can't have the gun.
In america we all carry around mini guns just incase we see any trouble and as a side arm we carry around 12 gauge shotguns for weak oppressors but these weapons are just light to our military who all carry around giant omega laser guns from the year 2976.
Personal alarm and pepper spray i think its the better once if some one slap the personal alarm out of ur hand it will still continue making sound and u dont need to put it at ur mouth and whistle u just pull it and it starts making loud siren but there are some cheap one that will break if some one slap it out of ur hands or step on it but the best is pepper spray take it out and spray the attacker he will be in pain and blind for few hours and can run
You can say none of these would work, but every time she states, ‘then run’ and that’s all you need, 5seconds to get your run on, or then attack. Good advice to a point, but you need to think wider,.. avoid getting into tricky situations, if you do thinking,.. where are my exits, active communication ‘back off!’ (Might be enough) call for help/ scream, use every and anything as a weapon, set of keys, lighter, hairbrush, compact (in hammerfist) all could give you an edge. Good vid but only scratches the surface
The kubaton is the stupidest, right behind the alarm. In the city there's constantly car alarms going off, noise everywhere. Ain't nobody looking out the window for that, all I'm saying. Bare minimum would be pepper spray, if not a concealed .380, those can actually stop someone.
Might as well duct tape a zippo to a can of hairspray for an improv flamethrower. That’s how ridiculous these “weapons” are. Pepper spray is the only useful one, and she’d have to be walking with it in her hand, pointed in the right direction, safety off, hopefully the wind will be blowing away from her so she doesn’t get any blowback and blind herself, and the attacker has to be slower than she is or he’ll punch her in the face first, or grip her hand and bend her wrist back and break it in 1 second flat - SNAP!
Yes, course when they come from behind and restrain both your arms, you can still get them out of your pocket. Or maybe you always have them in your hands?
as a guy , i advise for a girl carry pocket knife, box cutter, or any small sharp thing that would do the work. I do carry box cutter sometimes pocket knife, because i'm a small guy, work at warehouse, there is a shift that i go back at night where the road seems very quiet. If a cop pull over, just tell them you carrying this for self defense. Maybe they will fined you, but i rather pay fined than being killed in the middle of the road.
If you try to fight back a choke after the choke ... you end up choked... how crazy !!! Now way you can make someone release the pressure with a key chain ...
I am doing pretty good I already have 2 out of 5 of the items on my key ring. I have the whistle and the flashlight. And my little flashlight can be a strobe light.
I feel like the way she's describing this stuff is as if a bad guy is gonna care about a loud noise or a flashlight and if a bad guy is figuring u a plastic stick will not do shit the only chance u got rn is the pepper spray
Eveny more effective is gun it hurts them so they immeadietley makes them release you to twnd to the wound it attracts attention and it discourages them if you open carry
Good stuff but I wouldn't carry all of them in case you get flustered in the moment and don't know what to reach for. I would think pepper spray would be ideal. Just ask Johnny Knoxville
and where exactly should we put these items so when we were in attack we could get it effectively? (and fast) in a bag itll take time and we'll quickly get our hands off it at no time :(
I carry my pepper spray and knife on my lanyard around my neck when I’m outside my house so if anything happens to me I can quickly grab it. When on school grounds or places I’m unable to have weapons out I have my lanyard tied around my belt with it stuffed in my pocket or purse/bag/etc
I'm soo paranoid about bad guys. Anybody that would walk up to me when I'm walking home in the middle of the night I'll probably shoot 5 times in the head and walk away. Better than getting killed of course.
I am from the Philippines where there has been many reports about kids getting kidnapped and chopped to pieces for sale, by white and green vans, so this would actually help us. And also, be careful fellow filipinos
Are there combination weapons with a variety of legal self-defense weapons in a single unit, such as: combined claw with buttons for knife & house or car key to protrude & tasar & silent cell signal alarm & very loud disorienting alarm & video with sound for both SD card and connectivity to smart phone app with option to include gps location & calling designated emergency numbers w/pre-recorded messages & blinding light & salt bullets & pepper spray & hybrid power source (rechargeable batteries + regular batteries + mechanical energy generator via crank &/or shaking &/or passive motion like "self-winding" watches have & micro usb for recharging cell phone Etc.)? If not, seems like an obvious marketable device! After all, in emergencies, one can't assume there will be time for switching between separate devices. Wouldn't hurt to offer optional accessories such as holders as wrist bands; belts with hidden compartments +/- belt buckle weapons; stealth jewelry and hair bands/clips/ decor and baseball caps that double as weapons &/or alarms -/or blue tooth vs gps tags; easy access (holster-like) ~ "fanny pack" with accessories for stuff like chemical exposure mitigation incl nose clips and oxygen canister + goggles that may as well also filter out some % of blinding light +/- single lense infrared attachment + eye wash + skin cleanser, and sound assault mitigating ear plugs, + multi tool for escaping car trunk or removing tail light for waving for help &/or leaving a trail of evidence as well as a concealable saw for cutting rope or zip ties; maybe activatable thermal modifiers like hand warmers Etc.; stimulants to partially counter some sedatives; and other accessories such as smart phone "protective cases" with stealth compartments, hidden compartments in shoe heels &/or straps &/or fasteners that local shoe-repair shops could swap with regular heels; bullet-slowing combinations (gels, steel-weave cloth, deflective angles, Etc.) incl ability to integrate separate segments (free-standing but hidden separately, re-purposing parts of containers discussed herein, integrated into normal-looking clothes &/or jackets, &/or umbrellas, Etc.) +/- sleeves for adding "every day stuff such as cooking sheets or griddles, pre-made removable metal sections from your car, Etc.; with eachother to increase coverage; underwire bras with modified wire + closure hooks + standard-looking front padding; various multi- function fabric decor such as studs & rhinestones & appliques & ribbon & inner seam self-adhering holders of misc tiny stuff; ways to limit lay-people's hand-held (relatively weak) metal-detectors from noticing hidden weapons or create uniform patterns to camouflage what can't be sufficiently blocked ; Etc.; plus a line of custom-fit items to place inside of these hidden containers. Think 'Q' on James Bond. Women and teens particularly would benefit from such devices (+ manufacturers could make additional profits through partnerships with App developers and approved distributors could share profits from tuition for training courses tailored to the use of their proprietary products; Etc..

Yaa thats actually a thing and i have seen it as a medic, where Rapists are licensed to carry and use a 38 or a glock to pin you in a corner and do their business
Well I for one can't wait for her to try this in a real life situation :)
If someone grab your hand, just TWIST your hand and they'll accidentally let your hand go
There sure are a lot of people saying you should just have a gun. Here are some facts:
1) If everyone has a gun, nobody is safer.
Le Cobra I’m actually a male myself haha but thanks for the advice though I already know this! I was told this already by a friend
She keeps saying bad guy TRIGGERED
Haram Sheikh do you ever see woman robbing? even if the do they don't kill you. I'm no a girl but just admit it , don't use gender quality to get trigger for nothing. quick point I'm not going to reply
Well I think of the word guy as a gender neutral term, like addressing a room full of men and women as "guys."
Did she just assume his gender!!!!!!! 😤
Queen.357 you did too when you said "his gender"
%73.8 are males
Here's my proof: ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2012/crime-in-the-u.s.-2012/tables/42tabledatadecoverviewpdf/table_42_arrests_by_sex_2012.xls
good tools but it's always good to be street smart and aware of ur surroundings and how to read people.
Yeah it will be a big help but it needs a previous exeperience
For me i was a naive and stupid girl that dont care about anything in the streets until someone followed me to an isolated place and sexually harrased me ...it was a horrible experience but i gained a lot of self development because of it and i became more aware of the people around me also i trained so hard to gain physical strenght now i can fight back and run
It’s all we can do 😔
@@DepDawg I feel sad to hear both of your stories 😥
For day situation the best self-defense it atleast you need to know the basic fighting skill, human weak spots, how to punch, how to dodge, how to kick, and if you need self defense tool that not look very obvious carry a small sharp knife
For night time defense: if you face only one guy a hi intensity flashlight( at least 1000 lumens (this is my standard)) will do (make sure your flashlight got strobe mode) just shines at them (hi intensity flashlight will blind human and ruin their sight for several seconds, depending on the situation) and if you don't know how to defend yourself just run with your flashlight at strobe mode to attract nearby people
Me: whistles
Random guy with a freaking loaded gun holding me at gun point: *ah shit i cant believe you done this* (dies)
BLOW WHISTLE*
BAD GUY: I don't feel so good
Hahahahahaah
The Me'Me's............ The MEMES!!!!!!!!! So good
Give the bad guy a fake Russian accent, and he would say " No No.... NOT right now, I don't Feel So Good" haha
Shines flashlight
Badguy: my time has come
My Time Has Come (im dead off that one) haahhaahahaha
A firearm.
A pocketknife.
You're good to go!
(Recommended firearm is Glock 19, they're pretty popular. If you want a small one a Glock 24 Gen 4 will do.)
For pocketknife you should get one that's spring assisted, has a seatbelt cutter if you're car goes into the water or your seatbelt is comprised. And also a glass breaker if you are again in the water. Trust me, you ain't opening that door for awhile.
My recommended knife is a Bōker knife they come out of the case really sharp
God Emperor Trump Is that what you told your ex wife as you drove each other into the Atlantic Ocean? Yea I saw what you did fam. 😂
Science Vids
Wut?
flipper > assis
Glock 24 is not a small gun lol
gotta love how almost everyone is saying "gun" completely ignoring civillians cant own guns in like 100+ countries
Best 5 self defence tools
.38
.45
9mm
.50
Howitzer
Agreed
Really the only thing she showed would work is the pepper spray. The alarm if it averted someone
The only self defense item I carry is my two hands in the surrender position, accompanied by the phrase don't hurt me I'll do whatever you say.
Tips use a higher lumen flashlight
such as those cheap ones reccomended by budget friendly preppers the ultra fire cree q5 led bursts 200 lumens with strobe which is abundant enough to impare someone's sight for a certain time as for the kubotan if its illegal in your country use a parker ALL METAL Jotter or what i use a retractable ALL METAL vector also from parker another tip for kubotans are select the right type such Is the flat one (looks like a key fob to the untrained eye)(used in the video) or blunt ones(pointed but blunt) which looks like a pen from like a few feet away the the pointed one (will attract people into thinking its a weapon but very effective)
The guard at our bank uses a retractable vector, didn't do us much good when we were robbed a couple years ago. The robber just laughed at him, said nice flashlight Gramps and continued to Rob us.
I carried tactical pen and flashlight 1000 LM or more. I hope it help me when I am in the situation.
and where do we put these items so when we were in attack we could get it effectively? (and fast)
In your hand, you carry them defensively otherwise they're useless
The only guns I carry around her my two biceps that I use to hold my hands in the surrender position.
If i carry all five at the time it would be confusing. Which one should I use? 😀
The bad guy just took my flashlight and beat me with it.
They're also completely useless in a bank robbery.
Ha
You can say none of these would work, but every time she states, ‘then run’ and that’s all you need, 5seconds to get your run on, or then attack. Good advice to a point, but you need to think wider,.. avoid getting into tricky situations, if you do thinking,.. where are my exits, active communication ‘back off!’ (Might be enough) call for help/ scream, use every and anything as a weapon, set of keys, lighter, hairbrush, compact (in hammerfist) all could give you an edge. Good vid but only scratches the surface
Everyone is saying use a gun but what if that person disarms you and uses your own weapon against you?!
The kubaton is the stupidest, right behind the alarm. In the city there's constantly car alarms going off, noise everywhere. Ain't nobody looking out the window for that, all I'm saying.
Bare minimum would be pepper spray, if not a concealed .380, those can actually stop someone.
I’m going to one of my suspicious friends birthdays today 😂
Getting prepared just incase.
Here for a good time, not a long time 💃🕺🏼💃🕺🏼
my nan has the alarm, its so loud
i carry my stinky underwear LMFAO... it helps alot.XD
You cool
The alarm...you have to pull, how can u do that if ur arms are locked?
I want to buy a taser. Any reccomendations?
Best self defense weapon: a marriage proposal.
Need to bring this on United
THIS FLASHLIGHT CAN BLIND A BEAR
Pepper spray is not perfume, you are supposed to spray it with your thumb for better grip
No lie, 6 months of BJJ is more effective than all those combined
Good knowledgeable things to have. Pepper spray is only good if the wind is not blowing.
She said not trying to beat the person up. What about kubotan
Yes, course when they come from behind and restrain both your arms, you can still get them out of your pocket. Or maybe you always have them in your hands?
Me: **shines light**
Foxy: **runs away**
She forgot about an AGM 114 hellfire missle and 30mm cannons
I'll properly get bored and use the pepper spray on myself
i did that with my pepper spray no regrets i loved it actually
Get a BYRNA HD
as a guy , i advise for a girl carry pocket knife, box cutter, or any small sharp thing that would do the work.
Not even allowed pepper spray in the UK
Same in Australia. Not even allowed anything for self defence :(
I am doing pretty good I already have 2 out of 5 of the items on my key ring.
If you’re not trying to carry a gun, the only ones that will help are the pepper spray to attack and the alarm to bring attention
I am loving how a lady explains a whistle to me
they are experts at it ;) if u know what i mean
Paul vo Woman-spaining
I'm sorry someone attacked you; you have every right to use self defense.
I do want to know if a kubotan is illegal in Hawaii?
From where can get these all together
I need all of these
Eveny more effective is gun it hurts them so they immeadietley makes them release you to twnd to the wound it attracts attention and it discourages them if you open carry
In walks.....
PARANOID K A R E N!!
Ways to piss of the predator✌🏿
Pepper spray is incredibly effective watch active self protection. All the rest are feel good items
it's shame that we have to learn such things and woman can't go out for long
time without being conscious about something can go wrong
Good stuff but I wouldn't carry all of them in case you get flustered in the moment and don't know what to reach for. I would think pepper spray would be ideal. Just ask Johnny Knoxville
and where exactly should we put these items so when we were in attack we could get it effectively? (and fast)
in a bag itll take time and we'll quickly get our hands off it at no time :(
I carry my pepper spray and knife on my lanyard around my neck when I’m outside my house so if anything happens to me I can quickly grab it. When on school grounds or places I’m unable to have weapons out I have my lanyard tied around my belt with it stuffed in my pocket or purse/bag/etc
I'll stick with an expandable baton.
I can't believe she's getting paid for this crap. Please tell me that this is a joke.
Ikr? She didn't even bring up immediately surrendering and doing as your told. 😒
I'm soo paranoid about bad guys. Anybody that would walk up to me when I'm walking home in the middle of the night I'll probably shoot 5 times in the head and walk away. Better than getting killed of course.
Are those things for sale?? Because I would likely buy one
I am from the Philippines where there has been many reports about kids getting kidnapped and chopped to pieces for sale, by white and green vans, so this would actually help us.
And also, be careful fellow filipinos
Agree
Only thing is that you pepper spray is illegal in Canada.
Are there combination weapons with a variety of legal self-defense weapons in a single unit, such as:
combined claw with buttons for knife & house or car key to protrude & tasar & silent cell signal alarm & very loud disorienting alarm & video with sound for both SD card and connectivity to smart phone app with option to include gps location & calling designated emergency numbers w/pre-recorded messages & blinding light & salt bullets & pepper spray & hybrid power source (rechargeable batteries + regular batteries + mechanical energy generator via crank &/or shaking &/or passive motion like "self-winding" watches have & micro usb for recharging cell phone Etc.)?
Carry a 'koito' - quite deadly! They open coconuts🥥with them around here! 😂🤣
I live in Canada and I want to use a whistle to scare the Mugger or anyone with a knife but I'm scared of getting arrested for loud noise and disturbing the peace Should I use a whistle?
You could use those stuff, or you could, hear me out, exercise your second amendment right to carry a firearm
If only you could in California
