Growing Sensitive Shame Plant Time Lapse (Seed to Flower in 120 Days)

Long journal capturing the shameplant (also knowns as Mimosa pudica, shy plant, touch-me-not, etc.) in a condensed time lapse. The plant started from seed to sprout, growth and blooming with beautiful pink/violet flowers, which resemblance pom pom or firework blooms.
The plant was growing slow but strong and "move" a lot. The fun part is when you are touching its leaves, they will fold inward and droop. Sensitive plants live in tropical climate, but you can easily plant in a pot as a houseplant.

This plant doesn't like to have "wet feet"......let the soil dry out almost completely between waterings and try not to use cold water....hope this helps :)

Hmmm I must be doing something wrong mine has been stuck with 2 tiny stems for over a month now it had 3 stems but one died off, looking at this video that should mean a new bigger one will grow, maybe my plant doesn't want to grow up lol, I am planting another seed to see if that one does better.

I recomend you to grow It in a paper towel first

I'm in southern Louisiana, I have 5 growing from seed. I used premium organic potting soil. We Jane lots of humidity here! If the soil isn't moist they won't germinate. Hope this helps! Find ways to increase the humidity levels
