I love that the girl interviewing him said it was an honor to meet him, and then shook his hand, I think that is very polite and nice and I think he would have appreciated that a great deal.
"I'm better than Oasis", he did it alright, you can tell he did!. Nice one Hutch...it was a subtle way to get a dig in at Oasis. It's sorry to see that this was one of the last interviews Michael gave and the frame of mind he was in. No-one was expecting what November would bring as an INXS fan.

44 here... I remember at age 9, discussing the 'devil inside' lyrics with my cousin, same age. That song was in heavy rotation on the FM dial as you know. Even at a young age you could feel the creative energy and the sound of music transforming so fast. Years later became a huge vinyl junkie. INXS great album to drop. Will probably dig the record out of the milk crate now after watching this. Never gets dull! Michael hutchence was only 37 when he died! So you and I were teenagers. He was dealing with severe brain trauma that no one knew about as well as having a partner who was a drug addict and a toxic person. Such a loss of a talented artist.
Wow…his comment about ‘don’t live in London’ when asked about handling the tabloids was spot on considering Diana died about 2 months later while being chased by them. Guaranteed the tabloids added to the demise of Michael’s mental health. Society and the media likely played a big part for Michael who was so famous and amazing at what he did for a living yet picked apart for it so much. Serious injuries usually play a big roll in anyone’s mental health but add in fame and there’s so many factors to make it so much worse. Can’t blame him in choosing to sing with the angels over living in such a sick world.
I personally believe what Tim Farriss has said in several interviews. "Michael never wanted to grow old, and he didn't! Bastard!" I think Michael knew all along he was never going to "settle down". I can see that my beloved Michael was struggling here. Head injury and anxiety/depression is not easy to deal with. I also have head injury and on an anti depressant for many years, and just like Mike, my hands are always touching my chin or face when I sit and speak with others, it’s a sign of comfort to rest that pain and anxieties in your hands, makes it easier to talk

Had he not he would have probably stayed with Helena Christensen and not gotten destroyed by Paula Yates. I don't think that there's any doubt that she was a very manipulative woman. He clearly had problems and she was the wrong person at the wrong time in his life soon to be taken by his own hands. Of all of the celebrities that have ever passed his is the one that I can't completely put behind me. The music of INXS is in my life on a regular basis and Michael's voice will always be my companion

INXS are better than EVERYONE Oasis aren't worth mentioning all their stuff unoriginal and ripped most of it off of other well known bands. INXS aren't INXS without Michael and there'll never be another band like them. They were and still are THE BEST.
