i only just discovered him. it literally felt like a missing chapter in a fascinating book, the information he shared (the first video i watched was about UFOs lol but trust me, it was profoundly inciteful!! it changed my thinking.) and not two, maybe three months later - regularly following his channel and reading things he'd said - i discover he was preparing for his greatest journey. i felt like i've just heard the last few seconds of a really good song and now it's stuck in my head forever. just wow..... i just feel overwhelming privilege and bereavement.

And, i've received affirmations at points, during this recent journey, I've been on. Needless to say, these recent events have me 100% convinced that there is something MUCH more to all of this, than meets the eye. And, every day, I am thankful and blessed to have had that chance encounter. I will always refer to him, as my angel...

I only just discovered the works of Dr. Heiser in the last week or so, and can you imagine my disappointment/sorrow upon learning that he died about a year ago. I finally find a guy that makes good sense and seeks to answer many of the questions I come up with and he's already moved on from this world. I'm a mid-50s cancer survivor coping with the progressive and continuous degradation of my irradiated physiology to the point that I have to consume all nutrients now through a feeding tube. I haven't worked in years... but none of that has shaken my faith too much. Thank you for uploading this series of videos; I'm going to enjoy them, I'm sure. If I was healthy and wealthy... I'd see about enrolling in this university Dr. Heiser started... those courses are just way beyond my budget. So, again... THANK YOU for putting some of his opus online for those of us who continue to struggle with all of this.
Dr Heiser has helped me understand the Bible so much. Without the framework and the Heavenly Host worldview the Bible just seems like a lot of funny stories and God can come across as cruel. Since their wings were spread out, the wing of the first cherub touched one wall, while the wing of the second cherub touched the other wall, and in the middle of the room their wingtips touched. 28He also overlaid the cherubim with gold.… Not sure what Heiser is saying when he says the Bible NEVER refers to angels with wings. Translation: Do not listen to man, but the Word of God alone.

Think he is human and is in a round about way saying MOST angels do not have wings, and then simply got carried away in a freestyle response. No idea how this got past fact checkers in Logos. I do not agree with his theology though. He states that God can make random false claims, and then clean it up later and speaks only to what people can understand at the time. Knowledge doesn't always equate to wisdom I fear, but as all of man's wisdom is foolishness to God, then we are all in Heiser's shoes. I bought his book on another topic, and he does have some interesting viewpoints to consider.

Cherubim and Seraphim are part of the heavenly host, but they are not angels (messengers). They have their own job description that is separate, but over time people have lumped all of the heavenly host into that one term "Angel".
I’ve listened to this teaching over and over and I wondered why. Now at however minutes into this erudite elucidation, I realize that Michael has not made clear that angels with wings are indeed in the Bible. I’m going to look it up and request that an explanation be provided about GOD’s WORD which would never lead people astray - ❤
He makes it clear that there are 2 types with wings. His point is that we are led to believe falsely that all angels have wings when in fact most do not.
One night in my apartment a few months ago, I asked whomever might be listening "why is everything so secret and cryptic; why can't we just be told in a more direct manner the answers to questions like who am I?". Well, I got my answer. A being/person appeared beside me, on one knee next to the couch to be eye level with me. He was wearing a bronze/gold colored breast plate, red/burgundy tunic underneath that ended above the knee, blonde hair hanging down the sides of his face, very pale, very "glowy", very striking eyes; think they were blue but hard to see as they looked like stars were shining from them. Some kind of glowing plasma-ish translucent energy mass on/near his back. The area around him was darker than my apartment lighting and a little warpy, which is what caught my attention in the corner of my eye when it started. It was like another reality was opened up in this one. Little flecks of orange light flowing in one direction like a calm river of embers from a fire. He looked at me with this almost pleased half smile kind of a look, and in a tone of voice one uses to answer a question just said, "David, you are a son of God", and then vanished in the twinkling of an eye as it were. Pretty sure it was an angel😳. When they were going to take Jesus away, he said he could have called upon 72,000 angels to defend him but wouldn't, as scripture needed to play out. 72,000 angelic souls divided into a masculine and a feminine (twin flames) and incarnated into 144,000 human bodies of a specific bloodline🌹. They are here now.
Just for clarification, there are at least 2 biblical examples of angels having wings, are Ezekiel and Revelation. There are likely more than 1 type of angel with different appearances.
I've never seen angels with wings. They're beings of white light. Taller than humans, not giants. They look like pillars of light - 1 tall pillar in the center and two pillars on either side slightly shorter than the center one. These beings of light I've seen comforting and guarding someone or a group of people.
I agree with what you said about Christians suffering with their identity in Yeshua. I do think though it is a lot more then just identity as the problem. I truly believe that there isn't enough encouragement and support from our community Churches. Yes, there are pastors in each church which are literally called to be shepherds for God our Father, but they lack the abilities displayed by the example of Yeshua. Meaning that they do not go out of their churches and display the love of God with truth of salvation for the lost people. They remain idol , withdrawn in the comfort in their churches, when they are needed on the battlefields. while the community poor, drug-addicted, fatherless, and the homeless needs to see the churches spread the words of salvation than ever before. I have appreciated Dr Heiser enormously. He has brought barely discernable concepts and spiritual realities into the light so that we can deal with them openly. However, his modern western acculturation allows him to make categorical statements despite that he knows he does not possess the full data which belongs solely to the Creator. But like Job, the 38.1 syndrome underlies a heart seriously attuned toward the purposes of God.
Losing Dr. Heiser, Kim Clement, Chris Putnam and now Tom Horn, I have to ask the question, why? Why, especially at this time in life? They are such lights of truth for the world, and their work will live on. Give them my regards Father.

Heiser is one of the theologians who has influenced me the most. He was brilliant, and as many have already said here, he will be greatly missed. Our loss is heaven’s gain!
This Man of God taught me how to approach scripture. I am forever grateful for him and many other scholars and theologians.

I am new to the teaching of Dr. Micheal Heiser. The little I have seen has already opened my mind and views of the Bible. He is GOD sent, and he has been called home living in with our LORD in paradise.

Some angels DO HAVE WINGS I’ve seen it with my own eyes.
Isaiah 6:1-3 SAYS the Seraphim have wings, and in Ecclesiastes the cherubs have wings.
1 Kings 6:26 and the height of each cherub was ten cubits. 27And he placed the cherubim inside the innermost room of the temple. Since their wings were spread out, the wing of the first cherub touched one wall, while the wing of the second cherub touched the other wall, and in the middle of the room their wingtips touched. 28He also overlaid the cherubim with gold.…
Not sure what Heiser is saying when he says the Bible NEVER refers to angels with wings. Translation: Do not listen to man, but the Word of God alone.
@@tkcdac this is what confuses me. I try to learn as much as I can about the Word but then along come people like this who twist/misinterpret. Do you think it's intentional or overlooked? And if it's overlooked, they shouldn't be teaching? Or intentional for that matter lol
@@JoyinFlorida I think Heiser is not intentionally trying to deceive. Think he is human and is in a round about way saying MOST angels do not have wings, and then simply got carried away in a freestyle response. No idea how this got past fact checkers in Logos. I do not agree with his theology though. He states that God can make random false claims, and then clean it up later and speaks only to what people can understand at the time. Knowledge doesn't always equate to wisdom I fear, but as all of man's wisdom is foolishness to God, then we are all in Heiser's shoes. I bought his book on another topic, and he does have some interesting viewpoints to consider.

I guess as a newbie I'll just keep plugging along and ask God to show me the truth as He sees fit. I've followed and unfollowed 100 speakers in the past couple of years just trying to find my niche😊
Cherubim and Seraphim are part of the heavenly host, but they are not angels (messengers). They have their own job description that is separate, but over time people have lumped all of the heavenly host into that one term "Angel".
Dr. Heiser is in the Council taking care of his newly appointed office , he, as usual, is studying all the data provided in the divine turf.

I’ve listened to this teaching over and over and I wondered why. Now at however minutes into this erudite elucidation, I realize that Michael has not made clear that angels with wings are indeed in the Bible. I’m going to look it up and request that an explanation be provided about GOD’s WORD which would never lead people astray - ❤
He makes it clear that there are 2 types with wings. His point is that we are led to believe falsely that all angels have wings when in fact most do not.

One night in my apartment a few months ago, I asked whomever might be listening "why is everything so secret and cryptic; why can't we just be told in a more direct manner the answers to questions like who am I?". Well, I got my answer. A being/person appeared beside me, on one knee next to the couch to be eye level with me. He was wearing a bronze/gold colored breast plate, red/burgundy tunic underneath that ended above the knee, blonde hair hanging down the sides of his face, very pale, very "glowy", very striking eyes; think they were blue but hard to see as they looked like stars were shining from them. Some kind of glowing plasma-ish translucent energy mass on/near his back. The area around him was darker than my apartment lighting and a little warpy, which is what caught my attention in the corner of my eye when it started. It was like another reality was opened up in this one. Little flecks of orange light flowing in one direction like a calm river of embers from a fire. He looked at me with this almost pleased half smile kind of a look, and in a tone of voice one uses to answer a question just said, "David, you are a son of God", and then vanished in the twinkling of an eye as it were. Pretty sure it was an angel😳. When they were going to take Jesus away, he said he could have called upon 72,000 angels to defend him but wouldn't, as scripture needed to play out. 72,000 angelic souls divided into a masculine and a feminine (twin flames) and incarnated into 144,000 human bodies of a specific bloodline🌹. They are here now.

Just for clarification, there are at least 2 biblical examples of angels having wings, are Ezekiel and Revelation.
There are likely more than 1 type of angel with different appearances.

I've never seen angels with wings. They're beings of white light. Taller than humans, not giants. They look like pillars of light - 1 tall pillar in the center and two pillars on either side slightly shorter than the center one. These beings of light I've seen comforting and guarding someone or a group of people.
I agree with what you said about Christians suffering with their identity in Yeshua. I do think though it is a lot more then just identity as the problem. I truly believe that there isn't enough encouragement and support from our community Churches. Yes, there are pastors in each church which are literally called to be shepherds for God our Father, but they lack the abilities displayed by the example of Yeshua. Meaning that they do not go out of their churches and display the love of God with truth of salvation for the lost people. They remain idol , withdrawn in the comfort in their churches, when they are needed on the battlefields. while the community poor, drug-addicted, fatherless, and the homeless needs to see the churches spread the words of salvation than ever before. I have appreciated Dr Heiser enormously. He has brought barely discernable concepts and spiritual realities into the light so that we can deal with them openly. However, his modern western acculturation allows him to make categorical statements despite that he knows he does not possess the full data which belongs solely to the Creator. But like Job, the 38.1 syndrome underlies a heart seriously attuned toward the purposes of God.
He has met his Savior!
