I was also in my early 20s and could neither afford LV nor did I like it 😂knowing nothing about luxury or the brand I thought it was all overrated and people were paying for the name. There were also a lot of counterfeits going around at the time which was also a huge turn off (thankfully. I was so broke, it's better I didn't look too carefully 😂) After intially telling my advisor I wasn't keen on it because I had a couple of things from game on, I changed my mind. I've become obsessed 😂 I've ordered a few things in the upcoming collections. I'm both disappointed and relieved that the black is mostly silver HW. The relief is if it were gold I would want to buy a lot more 🥴😬 You have a beautiful collection and the colours really just pop! 🥰

I have seen the original monogram trouville with D rings to attach a strap but not the MC trouville. I wish LV made this bag with rings, but the seller may have just attached that strap directly to the metal on the handles. I highly don't recommend that since it wasn't designed for that feature and may put stress or damage your handle. Beautiful collection btw, I love the Murakami collection🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤗

I've been hesitant to purchase pre loved, but seeing your collection of LV bags is making me think again. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for making this video. I don't see many people have a big collection of multicolor now as the line has been discontinued for so long. I personally love this line and it is my favorite print from Louis Vuitton as well. I never bought pre-love cus I was afraid of buying fakes but I made exceptions for the murakami as it is the only way to get hold of them. I did not have the money when Marc Jacabs was still at Louis Vuitton. I have the trouville which I bought it from pre-love market in unused condition. The bag did not come with the strap and I watched quite a few bag review videos and those trouville also no strap. If there are not D rings, please do not attach a strap. I once tried to add a strap (from another LV bag) to Speedy 25 (the original one without strap) and after some time the leather around the metal part of the handle got scratched due to the friction from the strap hook. I regretted so much. Also, I recently noted that some resellers add a strap to these older models of Louis Vuitton to increase the marketability as some people prefer bags with strap. These straps are not original to the bags although they are still from Louis Vuitton. You may notice that bags from Marc Jacabs era do not have straps often. That was his style and also I think back then people preferred more elegant style and now a lot of the buyers are more casual and wear expensive bags running errands and would prefer to have the hands free.

Hi Stella, I was able to find an LV Theda PM in the multicolore but when it arrived, I noticed it doesn't have a serial number/date code tab in it anywhere. I was wondering if yours has one or if maybe the Theda PM didn't come with one for some reason.

I recently got my first Murakami piece and it is the black trouville in excellent condition. Mine didn’t come with a strap and I don’t believe they ever did. This was my first love in LV I remember watching everyone wearing them in the magazines when I was in high school. I am so happy I finally got my hands on a piece. I love your collection as they are pretty prestine! I have a white multicolor speedy 30 and love it! I purchased mine preloved on Fashionphile and it's in really great condition! The vachetta is a nice honey even color. There is no bleeding issue on mine thankfully. Do you know what year they had that issue? Just wondering if it will happen to mine or perhaps the previous owner had it repaired? Not sure.

Thanks for making this video. I don't see many people have a big collection of multicolor now as the line has been discontinued for so long. I personally love this line and it is my favorite print from Louis Vuitton as well. I never bought pre-love cus I was afraid of buying fakes but I made exceptions for the murakami as it is the only way to get hold of them. I did not have the money when Marc Jacabs was still at Louis Vuitton. I have the trouville which I bought it from pre-love market in unused condition. The bag did not come with the strap and I watched quite a few bag review videos and those trouville also no strap. If there are not D rings, please do not attach a strap. I once tried to add a strap (from another LV bag) to Speedy 25 (the original one without strap) and after some time the leather around the metal part of the handle got scratched due to the friction from the strap hook. I regretted so much. Also, I recently noted that some resellers add a strap to these older models of Louis Vuitton to increase the marketability as some people prefer bags with strap. These straps are not original to the bags although they are still from Louis Vuitton. You may notice that bags from Marc Jacabs era do not have straps often. That was his style and also I think back then people preferred more elegant style and now a lot of the buyers are more casual and wear expensive bags running errands and would prefer to have the hands free.

I recently got my first Murakami piece and it is the black trouville in excellent condition. Mine didn’t come with a strap and I don’t believe they ever did. This was my first love in LV I remember watching everyone wearing them in the magazines when I was in high school. I am so happy I finally got my hands on a piece. I love your collection as they are pretty prestine! I have a white multicolor speedy 30 and love it! I purchased mine preloved on Fashionphile and it's in really great condition! The vachetta is a nice honey even color. There is no bleeding issue on mine thankfully. Do you know what year they had that issue? Just wondering if it will happen to mine or perhaps the previous owner had it repaired? Not sure.
The issues were in the first runs of the bags so the very early 2000's
@@livingluxwithmeredith thank you! Its hard to read my date code as the embossing is not great on the fabric. If my eyes are not failing me it appears that it was made in 2004. I think the bag was launched in 2003? Anyhow so far no issues, thank goodness as that would bug me. Lol😄

It varies depending on how much there is to replace. LV will always quote before they do any work.
