For us side presure guys that always go vs toprollers it would help a lot. I got like a 30-35% success rate vs top rollers i need to be way better than that. Thanks in advance
thanks for these great videos . Love your precise, scientific approach to everything you do. One question I’ve always had is whether arm wrestlers prepare the exact same way for every opponent. Would you do the same exercises to prepare for Irakli as you would for John? Or would you change them up depending on your opponents’ strengths and weaknesses?
Good morning uncle Todd. I got a great selfie with you when I met you in Orlando. I wish I didn’t have four kids. I would drop everything and fly out to Georgia to watch you win the title. LFG!!!!!🇺🇸💪
am a 17 yr old, went to an orthopaedic last week. told that I have injured my outer elbow cartilage. JM presses will help in the recovery, right Uncle Todd? and any supplements if you please recommend :)
if i dont have a setup for speed day (dont have a pulley system at the moment, really awkward to do speed day with weights from floor) - what sort of replacement do you suggest in the meanwhile? just trying to get stupid strong at armwrestling
So coresports is not doing tge EvW anymore or just not the one in Georgia? I thought bfore they were going to have another season pass type thing u could buy.
Hey uncle todd ive been looking back at some toddzilla highlights, you Used to count mid match what was the thought process behind that and do you still do it?
Todd isn't really correct about strongman. Lots of events are about 1 rep maxes like max deadlift where they lift over 1000 lbs. Saying that is a lower level of force is crazy. Another example would be the log lift overhead where the record is 509 lbs. I'd love to see an armwrestler do that and say it is low force.
Todd didn’t really say all strong man events are low force long time. He specified examples to support his point Todd also said weight lifting was a high force short time. When Strongman events include weight lifting, like dead lift, pressing etc for max, the same high force short time example would apply.
I work in the water industry and I’m a pretty new operator, I couldn’t help but think of that chart as pump curve chart 😆 but the more I learn water chemistry the better I understand your videos when the engineer comes out of you.
This videos should be translated into books and sold on an armwrestling section on Westside barbell stuff... To all those who call me crazy... Todd just said what i say everyday... And they have done studies you know... 60% of the time it works everytime😅
Let's say there is a hook hold in a match, in this case alactic anaerobic endurance works, then lactic anaerobic endurance. Let's say we run or swing a kettlebell, the phases of tension and relaxation alternate, aerobic endurance works.
Uncle Todd teaching about integrals of a curve function😂 clearly you're an engeneer. also remember that toughness (in that case of the athlete) is the area below the stress-strain curve ❤
Yeah, your best boy, or key grip or dolly grip needs to get with it with the Windex on the whiteboard. Withhold that guy's pay until conditions improve. You are far too busy with your plans to annex our next Georgia to fool with blurry marker ink
Im just an amatuer so take it with a grain of salt. But when I get into wars it feels like I just sprinted 100m and im gassed out. But since I started doing sprints I feel gassing out isn’t as big of an issue now for me. Now it’s just I need to be stronger lol which is the main problem everyone has
@@toddhutchings906what I’ll do is train m-f and on Saturday I do one of two things I either sprint 100m walk the rest of the lap 300m and do it 4 times to equal a mile or I’ll just sprint 400m take a break then do it again 4x to equal a mile. That’s my weekend running but I personally feel it’s helped me with my armwrestling endurance
@@toddhutchings906okay I’ll try holding my breath next time but the real issue is the next match after. not so much I lose the battle but it’s the next battle I’m just done for lol
Your wife whispering "Simmons" after you said semens 😂
Merci!
Oh wow!! Thank you so very much.
As always, great stuff!
Anaerobic, and now we want to know what exercises you think are better than curls and bench 💪🏻

Ok
Let me think about it.

Thanks Uncle Todd!

I change exercises and table time for each opponent. The overall structure hasn’t really changed in 25 years.
@@toddhutchings906 I see. Thanks and best of luck! You are a huge inspiration.
This is the Louie Simmons of arm wrestling. I love this sport and Age can allow you to become better at it! 💪👊
Great stuff.❤❤❤

Thanks uncle for these precious training info 🙏
Uncle and Aunt Todd is what I and my wife aspire to become when we turn 50! Much love from India ❤

Hi uncle Todd.
What intensity should we choose for the isometrics. ?? Like how much weight?
Whatever you can hold for a 10 count
@toddhutchings906 thanks a lot.

I would follow the doctors instruction. BPC 157 helped my dads dog with ACL tear

Hey uncle todd ive been looking back at some toddzilla highlights, you Used to count mid match what was the thought process behind that and do you still do it?
Yes
Silently and to myself.
It helps me keep track of how much effort I may have left.
How does holding your breath help exactly? What the mechanism? Great analysis as always uncle

Fortunately I believe luck follows work.
Maybe it’s a controversial statement but I feel like sometimes doing 100m sprints are actually good for armwrestling
Why do you think they are beneficial ?

When you are in a war, you should be holding your breath, not maximizing your air intake like in a 100m sprint.
