Personal Notes: Hello everyone!! I hope ya all are having a wonderful night, and welcome to my brand new video dedicated to the governor!! I've never done a tribute to him before, so this was a very fun thing to work on, getting to see all of the governor's badass scenes, and some of his more emotional ones as well. It was really cool! I loved editing for him and hopefully I'll do it again at some point :)

Currently, we forget the Governor while it was the fucking wicked in the season 3. This character has always fascinate me ! The development of this character is (for me) one of the best from The Walking Dead.
Thanks for this video, it reminded me some scenes of the season 3, and my sleepless nights when i watched The Walking Dead for the first time. ^^

I agree the governor was so badass, I personally think he was more violent than Negan. The governor played a much better villain than Negan does. And his character was written so damn well!

I practically watch this video every day lol. I know people love Negan but he's too cartoon-like, the governor is probably my favorite villain in any media.
I can really only pity the Governor. Even after all he has done and at first I hated him for what happened towards his end. Now I can only pity him. They say behind every great villain is a broken hero and I think that is who the Governor is. He had to turn himself into a man willing to do whatever it takes, but losing people and being isolated took its toll as it would any man. I truly do feel sorry for him. He lived long enough to see himself become the villain.
I feel like the governor had good intentions but had to have a brutal strength to keep his community safe but that night he lost his eye, his daughter (who he was trying to find a cure for explaining the test lab) and ricks group attacked his town he lost it. That's when i believe he became even more brutal and why he wanted to torture michonne. Then when Andrea found out about his plans and tried to warn the prison group he had to stop her along with Milton after he betrayed the gov. Then when he attacked the prison for the second time with his town when they all left and refused to fight and the amount he had done for them with nothing in return he snapped and killed them as well. I can't view the gov as a villain because of everything that happened to him and he was trying to do his best for his people.
Awesome man, loved those transitioning parallels, with the punch to the car and with the guns, I'm making a video right now all dedicated to that concept.
Also loved the coloring and the scene choice, which always matched the lyrics perfectly. Great job!
Thank you so much man! I love doing transitions like that, cause it's like doing a transition without actually using a transition effect. It's cool to do😁 and I'm really glad the coloring worked out well! I've been messing around with the red coloring alot more as of late, so imma keep using it in more videos when possible :)
I can't wait to see the video dedicated to transitions like in this one, I know that's gonna be a very badass video, getting to see crazy transitions like that!

Thank you so much!! It was fun getting to edit the governor, it was a trip down memory lane, reminding me of how badass of a character he was. It made me remember some scenes of him I had completely forgotten about.
I'm really happy to hear your looking forward to the movie, it's such a huge project I'm happy to be working on! It's gonna take me forever but I'm hoping it'll be enjoyable to everyone in the end. This was alot of fun to edit cause I've never worked with this guy before (aside from my one little part for him in the warrior collab) so it was a breath of fresh air😁 I wish he was still the villain, I think I honestly prefer him over Negan cause he's more violent and intimidating than Negan is.
