I only ate MALAYSIAN 🇲🇾 food for 24 hours!

- Today I ate Malaysian food for the entire day! Malaysia is located in South Eastern Asia, with a population of 33 million people. In this video I explore different restaurants around London which serve Malaysian cuisine:
I started with my breakfast:
I went to a spot called Peninsula Wembley(Malaysian Street Food) I brought the Nasi Lemak with a hot cup of tea. Rice is a staple dish in Malaysia where you can eat it for breakfast, lunch & dinner. I really enjoyed this but I did find it a tad dry, however it was still great!
For lunch, I went to a popular spot called Roti King which you’ve probably seen all over social media. I brought chicken curry, roti & Nasi Goreng. This is the spot for the amazing roti, the layers and the thickness really blow my mind. It was such a great addition to the curry and I’ve been back there a few times. I really enjoyed the Nasi Goreng so much so I had it the next day for breakfast! I was absolutely lush. And drinks I got the iced Milo was so refreshing this was such a great lunch!
In between I decided to go to this restaurant called Med Salleh Kopitiam this was literally a late afternoon snacks, I was not planning on going full course meal. I decided to try the chicken satay, char kuey teow noodles with teh tarik iced ending with a delicious dessert of iced kacang atas. One thing I can say is the satay was the most delicious chicken skewer I’ve ever tasted! The noodles were rubbery but it tasted quite nice and the dessert was ice scrapings with peanuts & peanut sauce, milk, milo and chocolate sauces. It was very refreshing.
For dinner we went to Zheng which is a Malaysian restaurant in Chelsea, London. We ordered Beef Rendang, Coconut rice & Chicken Satay. My friend ordered their popular ‘Sesame Sweet n Sour Chicken with Egg Fried Rice’. I personally didn’t like the satay as much as it was rubbery and full of sugar, the beef rendang was nice it was beef curry with mild spices and the coconut rice was delicious, my new favourite rice.
Overall my experience with Malaysian food was great! My favourites being Chicken Satay, Coconut Rice, Nasi Goreng and Roti.
I hope you enjoyed this video. Please smash the like button and comment down below which countries food I should try next♥️

The way to eat nasi lemak is you have to mix sambal(red paste) with anchovies and peanuts then eat together with cucumber, egg and chicken in one bite 😋

For me the one who lived in the UK, there's no restaurant here that can even match what we have back home. This is what I think too everytime I eat at the restaurant here. I would love to invite you to experience Malaysian food in Malaysia.
Exactly.. Feel bad she is trying sub-par Malaysian food and judging it thinking its what we get hahaha..
agreed! nothing 'malaysian' there ever met the standards haha although there was one nasi lemak stall in spitalfields that was surprisingly good. not sure if its still there tho
Mamak Don come close though. Their Mee Rebus nice.
That's every restaurant in the UK though regardless of what cuisine it is. It is never authentic and it's always made to please their Caucasian customers.
As a Malaysian, it's quite disappointing to see our food don't get that much attention from foreigners. But I thank you so much for trying our food.

That looks like fast food version of nasi lemak like the one we got in MacDonald here in Malaysia. You should come to Malaysia and try real nasi lemak with ✨ayam goreng berempah✨ Literally a perfect meal 😋
lowkey tho the mcd nasi lemak is really good to me haha maybe cos i dont care too much about the sambal. the rice is fragrant enough and the ayam goreng mcd... yummm
“Goreng”, as in “Nasi Goreng”, actually means “Fried”, and “Nasi” means “Rice”. So Nasi goreng is Fried Rice😊

Used to watching you eating sour candies, now Malaysian Food pops up in my feed. Glad to see you enjoyed it. Fyi, a half overcooked boiled egg is the norm, it is usually served like that unless of course you have a different preference- you can ask for fried, half boiled, quarter boiled, runny yolks, etc. Since nasi lemak is our national dish, you can try 10 nasi lemak at 10 different places, they all taste about the same yet different in their own ways, and you'll perhaps find a favourite. Thanks for bringing us along your Malaysian Food adventure in London.
I was soo happy when she starts eating. Why? I’m a Malaysian Myself and when tourists or any youtuber eats our food, I love to hear their ratings and how it taste like to them. If it’s really good, our people really do appreciate it.
The guy didnt ask if you have any peanut allergy bcs as uncle roger said there’s no way you’re south east asian if you have peanut allergy 😂
I love how in the description you said you didn’t intend for a full course meal for the late aftn snack, but that was a whole meal 😂😂 the main dish with the kway teow, some sides with the satay, milo for the drink, and ice kacang for dessert!
Im so proud as a Malaysian! ❤ Thank you for doing this Malaysian food review. ❤❤❤
Overproud
Thank youuuu for doing this video!! I'm Malaysian and I've been waiting for you to do a vid eating our food 🥹🥹
Thank you Nuranisa 💕
You wanna taste real Malaysian food then you have to come to the source itself: Malaysia. Food made in other countries will never the same since they water it down to suit the taste of foreigners and that’s what happened with these restaurants. Quite normal actually.😊
I agree, the mad salleh restaurant was good but it wasn’t as good as the real food in malaysia
Malaysia food very delicious 😋 and im so excited to see your videos. Glad and happy to see you eating Malaysia food and review them. Hope you like it 😀 please do more videos like this..
Syukran ya Ukhti. As a Malaysian I'm so proud❤ thanks for the honest food review. Much love!
Ramadan Mubarak! Love the video ideas! ❤ Enjoy the rest of Ramadan and when the time comes have a lovely Eid.
Ramadan Mubarak 💕 thank you I hope you have a great Eid🙏🏽
Malaysian here, thank you for trying our food and giving an honest review ☺️ for the nasi lemak you have to mix a bit of everything that’s how we eat it but i usually don’t eat the peanuts bc i don’t like it 😂 the red paste is called sambal it should be spicy and sweet. Teh tarik /milk tea should have a bit of sweet bitter taste. Fyi malaysian food mostly halal because majority here are muslims
what she had for the day ;
for breakfast - Nasi Lemak and Teh Tarik (basically mild tea that were made in a different way, should check out how they made it)
for lunch - Roti Canai with Chicken Curry, Nasi Goreng and Milo Ice
for snack - Teh Ice (not sure), Chicken Satay with Kuah Kacang (the peanut sauce), Char Kuey Teow with Sambal Chilli and ABC (shaved ice)
for dinner - Chicken Satay with Kuah Kacang, Nasi Lemak (only the rice) with Beef Rendang (the rendang slightly too much sauce, it needs to be a bit dry)
you guys should try Malaysian food!! If you can't eat spicy foods and peanuts, then you should others or just be aware lol
Looks more like abc than cendol
@@lockhart_9593 wait yea omg thank u for fixing my mistake

The red paste in the small container with the nasi lemak is called “sambal” which consists mainly of chilli, onion, some people would put in anchovis, shrimps, even chicken

I am a Malaysian and proud that you are tasting Malaysian food. Just to correct the pronounciation of Nasi. It is pronounced as Nasee not Nasai..Nasi Goreng means fried rice and the chilli sauce is called sambal. And we dont eat Nasi goreng with chopstick..Malaysian eat it with fork and spoon. You should try more Malaysian food..Enjoy!

You need to try the proper nasi lemak in Malaysia, it is wrapped with banana leaf. It only have nasi ,sambal, fried anchovies, cucumber and egg.

As Malaysian, please come to Malaysia for you to enjoy the real malaysian food. 😊
WE MALAYSIANS LOVE BEING NOTICED🎉🎉🎉 btw yes nasi is pronounced “nah-see”. Thanks for reviewing!!
Thank you for showing around and reviewing halal Malaysian restaurants in UK but seeing what I could've get for around 2 USD/MYR8-10 in my home country became more than half a hundred MYR in UK make me want to cry lol 😂. Malaysia is surrounded by sea after all so most of our food use seafood ingredients even in seasoning like belacan (dried shrimp paste) was added in sambal so if you have allergy you have to be careful.
i don't even know what it is about your videos that's genuinely so addicting, it's really the open joy of exploration and discovering new and delicious things
Can you pleaseeee do Indian food? It’ll make me sooo happy cuz your eating my national food ♥️ ♥️ and the video was great I have tried Malaysian food it is awesome hi to all my Malaysian brothers and sisters !

Sis if you can find Nasi Kerabu there you should try it! Please come to Malaysia, it has so much more to offer you, the originality of the taste is here🎉 Thank u for trying!! ❤
Was the accompanying sauce the Sambal?
When I saw your reaction I thought it was.
It is the olympics of hot sauces! - though quite addictive, seeing you mix it with rice brought my craving back.
The noodles looked home made - I am a big fan of ‘chewy’ noodles, al dente, means ‘to the tooth’ - the pasta should feel chewy and not lose its shape in the sauce, only way to cook & enjoy pasta (according to Italians).
I really enjoyed your vlog, thank you for posting & sharing.
You have the most beautiful teeth!
I really want a roti rn 💀
I was on ruqyah videos then stumbled on this delicious looking compilation of food and I just forgot that I am staying at home with fever. May you always under the protection of Allah. Shukran for making me happy today. 💜
