Kingston is a very cozy town. The Thames is not wide here, but picturesque. Beautiful water birds swim near the river bank.

Thanks Willy for another of my childhood haunts; Kingston was THE shopping destination for us back in the '50's with my parents and school friends. I still used to go later when I lived in the Croydon area and my daughter still goes there regularly with her family! Lovely video!

Thanks for this video, Willy. I used to live with my parents in Ham, which is next to Kingston. So I knew Kingston pretty well then, often cycling along the footpath by the river and around Richmond Park.. But I haven't felt able to return since my parents passed away 30 years ago. I must say that I didn't recognise Kingston from your video - it has changed considerably. Great to see your video though. Thank you.
