    Love the mini moon. When do we see some of the wedding? I know it is a personal memory but would love to see both of you all dollied up, flowers, cake and a bit of the reception. In my past life I was an event/wedding planner so highly interested.

      I do have some footage from the wedding which I need to put together :) I'll get cracking on it in the New Year once this little series is done.

    Really nice episode! We made a quick lunch stop at Graaff-Reinet and Camdeboo on our very first visit to SA in 2010 as we drove between Karoo and Addo. Had we known on how nice it was we would have stayed longer and your video just reminded me we need to get back to that area again if only we could pry ourselves away from Kruger for a trip 😀

    • @NicoleEddy1
      @NicoleEddy1  3 роки тому

      Thanks Joe :) Haha, we have the same problem with Kruger...we just struggle to book in anywhere else, it has that effect on people. But with that being said, it was amazing to see another part of the country (and being East Coast).

    This vlog brought back fond memories of Graaff Reinet, staying at the Drostdy hotel for our anniversary and exploring the region. So glad you are exploring EC. Can’t wait for next week and ADDO as that park is just 90 min from our home and we go regularly just for the day. Thank you for sharing your minimoon trip.

      It's such a lovely and unique part of the country and I cannot wait to be back. I went to Addo years and years ago, so it was great to re-jog the memory and see what it is all about :) Hope you guys had a great time in Addo & thanks for watching!

    Hi Nicole. First of all congratulations on the wedding. I hope Blair and yourself have a wonderful life together. Blair is such a great bloke with a great personality. Anyway to your vlog (video). Another great video with the amazing scenery of the East Cape. It was great to see a giraffe and other wildlife in the area. The area as Blair was driving reminds me the arid lanscape of outback South Australia and the Northern Territory, which is also very dry. Looking forward to more videos from you. Have a wonderful and safe Xmas and New Year. Pete, Adelaide, South Australia.

      Thanks Peter :) Oh wow, I'd love to experience the outback, Australia looks like it has some insane landscapes and beautiful areas to explore. We have a lot of family there between the both of us, so we need to go and get stuck in when we're allowed to travel again!

    Wow this vlog is awesome. How that bathroom can tell stories. My husband and I went to keimoes just before augrahbies falls. The house we stayed in was immaculate and had up to date furniture everything was super great. Well the first shower we had was a trickle of water. What a disappointing shower that was. They did not rectify it. That was the only complaint as we are shower people not bath people. But your vlog are so super great to watch and gives one ideas on where to go and stay. Thanks guys and look forward to the next one xx🤗🤗

    • @NicoleEddy1

      Thank Mary, yeah they've done the bathrooms really well & have stuck to the Victorian influence that crept into the Drostdy Hotel when it was first became a hotel. Sorry to hear about your shower experience near Augrabies..hopefully they've rectified it since your stay.

    "Valley of Desolation" may sound depressing in English, but the Afrikaans is avtually a pretty alliteration: Vallei van Verlatenheid.
