Hello John, even though I'm not in the phase where I can finally rest and stop panicking yet, I totally relate with what you said. There is a point where we feel in a rush 24/7 and we question the quality of our work and the time we invest in every little thing without being able to see the end of all this stress. Nevertheless, we know that deep down, we are doing the right choice because we are staying true to ourselves, which undeniably leads to the long awaited peace and appreciation of ourselves for all the work we produced.
I started watching your videos when you were in New York and I checked out the older content. I realized how difficult life was for you when I finally understood what you went through and the places you've been to. I'm happy to see that you've reached that phase now. And while the image I have of you is only the one you project to us, I'm confident in saying that you deserve all the good things that are happening to you.

Before watching this video without context I must say this, as a 32 year old adult I use recreational cannabis, easiest way to put it is don't smoke in public or at skateparks, be adult and set an example for the younger Generations and if you happen to see a Smoke Joint or filter on the ground do the world a favor and just throw it away. Don't sell drugs period
Land of the free, cannabis has never killed anyone. But as a 32 year old you'll say some dumb shit how its ok for you to buy and smoke but others can not. If two people want to take part in a consensual trade why should they have to involve a third party?

You’re actually really lucky. At my local skatepark in Ireland, it’s really sad to say but 80% of the people there ARE NOT skating. There’s like 20 ppl in the corner just smoking and vaping, another 5 literally just standing around. And the skatepark is SMALL, there’s probably only 4 people including me actively skating.

At my local parks people smoke and skate, and most the time the people that smoke skate better high. It doesnt make sense

I think i started watching in 2015-16 ish. You were the one that inspired me to skateboard so it had to have been that long ago. It's definitely been a journey. My boards have seen lots of sweat, tears and definitely blood in those years. Its been a long hard time since tbh. It's nice to see a vlog of yours again. Reminds me of the good old days when I was on top of the world...yet bearing it's entire weight on my shoulders. It makes me wanna do the same. Like sometimes i feel like i wanna share my every day with friends but just don't know how and I feel vlogs would be a way to go.
I've been going through depression tho, really trynna find my motivation to do stuff that is actually vlog worthy and junk. But i need to get my shit straight. And find routine between work and all the things i love. Been struggling with my alcoholism and dependence on weed
And sometimes i can do it. Sometimes if i really work hard i can find time to do everything i want to do in a day. But sometimes it just leaves me feeling empty. Like I'm just a robot committed to doing task after task. Sometimes it feels nice to have different day to days but then it feels like i never get anything done. And its a hard balance to find between those two extremes. Idunno, defs been through a lot in the past few years that has left me idunno lost and I'm trying my best to find my path again but you know how it goes.
I also feel like I don't have much friends with the same mindset, and in a way that's why i was always happy to have you and your old vlogs. You were my friend that motivated me, pushed me to do new things, taught me to take risks and idunno just helped me Progress Daily(hehe) and i appreciated that. Defs glad to see vlog like that again.

TOP TIP FOR BETTER JUST EGGS - try adding black salt to the Just Eggs. It seriously helps them get more of a sulfur flavor (also it's salt). This really closes the gap when comparing these (or any vegan egg/tofu scramble) to real eggs. Love your vids John!

I was a skateboarder in mid 90's to early 2000's and I must say how jealous I am of all the skateparks you guys have access too nowadays. If we wanted to go to a park we had to find a ride to another city 45 miles away, and it was small and all the ramps were made from metal and BLACK! So if you fell on one and it was sunny and hot, you would get burned. I got 2nd degree burns all over my back from falling on the fun box. So we pretty much only street skated, so we got tickets all the time or got kicked out. It was definitely different back then.

man a lot of those rules you said are like spot on, being like creeped on while skating has been a big thing for me when skating i don’t really live in the best of areas so when i do go out to the spot i like to skate most the time i do get some weird people just kinda looking at me, had this car one time stop by the spot then drive and park a few feet down out of sight and i think they were expecting me to go the direction that they parked to go home so they could like rob me or something, luckily i live in the complete opposite direction of where they parked but it was still very creepy to see that happen to me.
