Thank you, Belgica! In addition to being an outstanding actor, you are a superb teacher. I really appreciate your insight, clarity, and honesty. See you on set!
Thanks, Susana! :) No need to be sorry. Just wanted to share because it seemed like a fun idea and I had a lot of fun! I just found another Bed Bath and Beyond commercial I auditioned for too. So I will for sure be doing that in the future.
You are the super cutest!!!!!!! Super awesome that you help inform actors! thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!! keep it up!!!!!!!!! :) Also spreading love to the actress, your friend, that got it i's EVERYTHING! YOU ARE HIGHLY EVOLVED! There is room for everyone, and spreading and being LOVE on our human journey, i feel, is the only way! ALL my love! Dana
Awwww, this was the commercial you was talking about. Sorry you did not get the part Belgica. At least your friend got it. Things happen for a reason and you will receive another opportunity soon👏🏾✨
Keep at it from what we've seen you got that knowledge and experience needed to make it. We also thank you for your continuing support for those who are interested in the field! Also wow they really cut a lot from the monologue on the final product.
Oh God, my first language is Spanish, and I can relate with you. I used to speak it every day when I was younger, and I feel like now, I am forgetting it since I don't really speak it often and I think even if you are fluent in Spanish translating from English to it is a skill that needs to be practiced. I know I have struggled before with translating things from Eng to Span because of not knowing some of the words. lol. Thank you for the video! :)
Good evening from Mumbai INDIA. Cherese Sorry u did not part of Christmases commercial. In bolloywood commercial look is more important acting is secondary. l was dropped in commercial after selection. Some known famous actor was selected. Client change his mind last minute. i know ur seasoned actor. U r very good performer. U will get good work in future. All the best. God bless u.
Yes, I think it is worth it. Your acting and audition in general will be so much better because of it. If the script is super long and you just can't do it with the time you have, I think it's okay but working towards being faster at memorising is a good idea. Getting a reader is also important. There are lots of apps and groups for that or you can get an audition buddy 😊
@@BelgicaPaola Hey Belgica! Thanks for the information on your channel. What are the apps and groups called? I am new to acting. I did not realize there were apps for these sorts of things.
What casting website do you use right now? I watched your video about explore talent I had them 3 year ago and it was bad experience. I am very serious about acting career.
Here is a video on how to choose a casting website. ua-cam.com/video/Jy1xK2cG-Ms/v-deo.html At the moment, I am mostly getting auditions from my agents. I just started to recap what auditions I got and from where on the first Sat of the month vlog.
@@BelgicaPaola just enjoy the process and enjoy this and your life for what it is. I do other things and I honestly just want to be happy in this life. Not like Bojack. He ain't seen happy and it hurts me.
Thanks for all the love! Not sure if you saw the video, but it seems like we have the same outlook. I very much enjoy the process and am happy to have others succeed, especially when I know them and know how amazing they are as individuals. 💕
That’s interesting. You don’t have a accent. I know many people who speak Spanish and when they speak English they speak like they never had spoken in Spanish. Don’t worry you have done a good job hope to see you in more projects soon.
Yeah, I came here when I was very young. Some people still assume I would have an accent and I ALWAYS get asked to "Let out my natural accent" lol There's nothing there. hahaha
Depends on the week and if I was self submitting and or having my agents submitting. This week, I did 3 VO auditions, a commercial audition and a short film audition. So 5 this week.
I heard they are making a prequel for Charlie and the chocolate factory and they are looking for actors do you know anything about that or how to get an audition??
Hi Ana :) "Wonka" was recently announced to be coming out in 2023 so they should be filming pretty soon I would think. It is a huge show, so the only way to really audition for a speaking role is through an agent. To be background you would have to be local to where they will be filming. I have no idea where they are going to be filming... I would be VERY surprised if they did any kind of open call where you are able to self-submit since it is such a huge franchise. They would be flooded with self-submissions.
hey Belgica i wanted to ask if am an extra then like and they realy like me can they like put me in like the main charachters i know its sound stupid but i just wanna know
Hi there :) in my experience and everything I have seen and heard, no. That is not very likely. If you are a "core extra" and they happen to need someone to maybe say 1-3 lines then you might be considered... BUT you would have to audition for that if invited. My point is that you are much better off working hard to get an agent that is able to submit you for speaking roles and then eventually in main character roles. Being an extra with the hopes that you will be put in is not a good idea. :) Hope that helps!
I love when people react to their self-tape vs the actual show!!!
Thanks! I found another commercial form a few years ago. I will make another one like this in the coming weeks. :)
It's great that you promote the commercial as well as your fellow actors.
Thanks! :)
I love the tip of having something planned while waiting for callbacks!!
Thanks! It's worked great for me :)
This was great! I’m also an actress and love seeing who was cast on projects I’ve audition led for. Thanks for the great content 😁💕👍🏼

Do you suggest memorizing lines for auditions? Sometimes to send asap there is little time to memorize and find a reader for you if required.
