Goan Chana Doce | Doce De Grao | Christmas Special | Goan Recipes

Chana Doce or Doce De Grao is a traditional goan dessert preparation made with split bengal gram or chana dal, coconut and sugar.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup split bengal gram
1 1/2 cup grated coconut
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp ghee
1cup water for boiling the gram
1/4 cup water for grinding the coconut

For half kg channa dal 2 grated and
Ground coconut little less than half kg sugar little elachi powder about 2 tablespoon ghee
