The man is an inspiration and is one THE greatest Motorsport athletes of all time. His return to racing was remarkable!
we NEED stars like you back. Even if it’s for top fives. Your presence elevates the sport in so many ways.
ONE MORE YEAR RYAN!!! SX and then MX, guaranteed podiums would be on the way after really getting your flow back 🤙🏻
Dungey is the man! Hearing his comeback was last minute makes it even more impressive. Hope he gets the itch again next summer.
Right on, 22' Outdoors was dope, Ryan came back made it even better. He's a grinder, fun to watch. Wife seems real cunty. Maybe "Boss" will allow him racing 23' Outdoors?
Yes, it was super cool having Dungey back for a season. I still have a signed Oakley poster of RD5 and the 450 Makita Suzuki on my apartment living room wall. I had it framed 7 years ago and even though Im 61 years old I keep it up there as a reminder of that kid who's teacher told him to forget it....he would never make it as a professional motocross/supercross rider. Also for how much enjoyment I got out of watching him build up a nice set of stats and records year after year. Fan for life!
You cannot help but love this guy. He is everything that is good about the sport, a fearless competitor and an all round nice chap. All the very best for you and your families future Ryan !
Class act. Humble and down to earth. One of the best ever in MX/SX and just a good person period.
Incredibly shot and put together. Absolute legend. Thank you RD
🙏🏼
We need more of this story ….
This could easily be a full tv show at least 2-3 documentary
At high point this year it was so unreal to beable to meet Ryan and get his signature that’s something I will never forget. Congratulations on everything ryan🙌
RD5 is for sure on the Mount Rushmore of all-time greats. What a crazy summer and it was a gift to be able to watch him race again. Thank you to the Dungey family
The way I see it, RD doing the outdoor this past season, being a constant threat for the lead, not getting hurt, promoting KTM and motocross while being a class act all the while may have been the greatest achievement in his career. Bravo!
I know of no one with more admirable character than RD. A true gift to the sport. Lucky to watch him.
Great to see Dungey have a successful and happy life after racing. The comeback was awesome but the legacy has already been established.
Coming back was something that set him apart from other great champions. Huge respect for RD.
A man we could all aspire to be. Blue collar values inside a champion. Through out his career he quietly went to work, like so many fathers do every day. Not enough recognition focused on that aspect. Props!
The race Dungey shifted by hand, that was impressive, a lot of heart and never give up attitude. Dungey was my kids favorite rider and he is a stand up guy in every way so I don't blame them.
Needs to race next year 2023 he put on a good show every round that’s for sure
Dungey is an amazing athlete and I LOVED watching every race he was in this year. I wish it could be more, but totally understand. THANK YOU Ryan (and Lindsey) for coming back to us for the year!
Thanks for everything Ryan. Thanks for coming back for one last season. That was a real treat for us hard-core fans. The sport needs stars like you in it because it makes everything so much better. i’m happy for your family life and I’m happy that you’re at peace with your decision. I think you needed one more go at it so that you could be at peace 100% with moving onto the next chapter. I hope to see you around the sport in some kind of capacity.
What a legend man. We love ya dunge
Beautiful family an a great dude. You deserve what you've built. This is an awsome vid of just a dude who rides a bike an loves his family. Having a kid is definitely the best thing in the world an no trophy can bring that joy. So much more a Dungey fan now then ever!!
Ryan has done so much for the sport and it was awesome to see him come back, but it’s hard to see him go again!
Simply, Thank you! And God Bless you and your family 🙏
ONE OF THE ALL TIME GREATEST
One post is not enough , This guy is a legend , a gift to this amazing sport and he always be number 1
Was awesome to watch him race this year
All the respect in the world to the choices Dung made to have the opportunity to focus on his family, when and while he could; equally respect to Lindsey for the years of sacrifice she put in for him to go as long as they did but it still is super sad/easily clear to see that he’d be going and arguably still winning for X amount of years more, if she was on board. But there is definitely some tension there lol.
how can you not love this guy
It's great to see a good guy/great racer blessed with beautiful family and happy!
He will go down in mx history as one of the GOATS🐐💯
It was great to see him out there i watched every race . As a racer at one time I understand him and he did the right thing Family is all you need that's N0# 1 . I still ride though but for pure fun nothing else .
Man the rockstar makita suzuki days were my favorite time in motocross. What a team they had, legends.
A legend
Keep killin it Ryan 🇺🇸🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇲🇺🇸
Awesome video 👏👏 hopefully 🤞I’m looking forward to more.
Dungey is a true legend!!
One of the GOATS! 🔥
One of the Best ever
Ryan is LEGEND!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐🏆🏆🏆🏆💪💪
Fantastic family, person, career and film.
Thank you 5!
Awesome work and awesome family keep it up
It’s hard to see him so close to podium 5 years on and just walk away again, he’s been an absolute phenomenal rider and athlete through the years and will be one best to do it and will always be one of my favourite but he must lie awake some nights and wonder “what if” happy retirement dude!
Such a great guy man! Miss him at the gate. You just smile back when you see him.
Loved dunge since he moved up from b class.
My favorite rider. Hands down!
You got to come back! You can do it!
Love fox I have a 34 rhythm myself and adore it. Now i just need to get a fox shock for the rear. Love Ryan too, dude is a heavy inspiration and a CRAZY good rider. Ride safe!
PLEASE Linsdey! One More Year!
I get the impression Ryan is an intensely focused person. Not just that, he seems to enjoy the intensity it isn't just the means to a goal. It must be very hard to go back to normal life after living at such a high intensity. I hope he can gently retrain his brain to enjoy normal-ish life. His races were some of the most intense and exhilarating races I have ever seen. Simply because he was relentless. Even if another guy occasionally had more pace, Ryan would never slip and never buckle. Races with him against either Tomac, Roczen, or Marv would be neck and neck lap after lap.
Will forever and always be my favorite rider D23 proud
Golden Rod !!!
Nice work. Authentic.
Went to my first pro national this year at Millville just to watch you and Eli. Knew it would be the last chance to see you race in person. #goldenrod
That was amazing what you did man and how good you did it 💯🤙
Class act all the way 👊🏻Whatever your future holds will be epic and caring, because that’s who you are 👍🏻🇨🇦
They did it! Thanks Dungey!
He’s a bad dude on a dirt bike! 🤙🏼
I love him he’s our homeboy here in mn💪 ik he ain’t riding yami but still my favorite rider
Loved seeing Ryan out on the track, the itch u have to scratch, it's ashame his wife had bad anxiety of him racing again and was not happy.
I reckon he would of had that floating around in his head while racing.
The real boss is the family
Guarantee he's going to look back at this and wish he'd have stuck around for another year.. Clearly, moto is his passion, and as a man we need that "balance" of doing the things that we love outside of daily life.. Some people play golf, others race cars & dirtbikes, and blah, blah blah you get! I just really wish his wife was more supportive and encouraging toward his passions, rather than her expectations! Cheers.
Stood next to troy in the tunnel after the milville whoops during the 2006 mudder.
"He's in the top 10"
Great video by the way, congrats on that work
The one and only one champion 🏆 your the best.
Thank you so much FOX & the CHAMP RYAN DUNGEY
Wish he'd stay on a motocross only deal. Such a good guy for the sport. Definitely leaving a hole in our sport
pffft,the hell he is
I feel terribly Sorry for Ryan the pressure from , his wife and children ,the responsibilities. I am saying that in a meaningfull understanding way from wife and from Ryan. I believe now it weighed heavily on his riding, it wasn't alowing him to ride like him free. Because anything being said ,what a true soldier when not the fastest he go through and won. I am a little saddened i feel now ? he would have done better without lifes responsibilities all be it a wonderfull family
He's an ambassador for our sport
Good for Dung. great person on and off the track.
Ryan my favorite rider from 2013
Ride off into the sunset bro. You got nothing to prove to anyone! Great to watch your entire career
You should keep racing man. Your only 32 right, what are you gonna do. Your still so young, crazy you retired when you did the first time and it's still kinda crazy that your calling it again. You have a long life, you can do all that other stuff later on, be young while you can be young. Many people would love to take your place and that opportunity
The only thing that could ever overshadow his racing accomplishments is his incredible character!
Love Dungy 🤘 He’s still Awesome 👍
Its absolutely mind boggling to me that he is still probley top 5ish in the world in outdoor motocross!! I hope Ryan's wife lets him continue.. At least outdoor only??
LEGEND.
Inspirational.
You know he wants more……. 💪
Legendary!!!!!!🏆🥇🏁🇺🇸👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼😎🥳😀💯
legendary primma donna yeah
@@rmtwofiftyzmann Nope. That’d be the fucking whiner of roczen…
Keep going, come on!!!! Women will never understand, dont let her hold you back from your destiny, we all know shes not so giggly in private conversations, dont let women run your life ryan!
Shut up. She’s not running his life. He wants to do what’s be for his family. He has had his years of doing is dream. He was a professional for 10 years.
@@thomasvinsen1410 on an interview after outdoors he said if he had another off season to prep he feels he could win, then he said things like “now we can put this racing thing to bed”. Thats woman words...you think he wants to follow his wife around at the farmers market on weekends or go to battle?
He's a good man,a good dad,and a good husband.hes an example of what our youth can be! if he can afford NOT to race, that's what I'd do,because there's allways that chance of serious injury,or paralysis
one great dude!
Golden Rod5👍
All married men w children work hard to balance this dynamic in one way or another! Even the top pros like #5!
All Love .
Good stuff!
Cmon everybody: ONE MORE YEAR. ONE MORE YEAR ONE MORE YEAR ONE MORE YEAR ONE MORE YEAR
He led at Washugaul but then his bike died... what the heck happened????
sucha solid dude 👍🏻👏🏻
I'm really a huge ryan dungey fan
Remember passion keeps you young and you will live longer but its the balance you need to maintain
Many racers are doing quite well with families with wives that support and encourage them. Hell, my wife supports and encourages me in whatever I do. Too bad Ryan's wife isn't like that. He's still to young to just quit and play Mr. Mom. You can still see his eyes light up when he talks about racing, and then see her eyes cutting into him like a knife. Too bad. Ryan will always be ranked among my all time favorites.
C’mon, you can’t say his wife isn’t supportive of him. I’m sure she made sacrifices over the years and during his peak. I mean, to have someone be loyal and follow you around the country and sometimes internationally, year after year, sounds pretty supportive. We all wonder what could’ve been if he didn’t retire so early, but instead we should be grateful for the years and this bonus year that we were able to watch RD5.
I have to agree it was disappointing to see her selfish attitude towards his desire to go back racing.
Washougal is in my back yard, wish I would have been there to see you race
Damn, Dungey's garage is showing sheet rock mud strips. I'm sure he could afford a painter to finish that garage. 🎨 🖌
Love ya Dunge
Would be great to see you race again next year but I respect your family wishes
Dungey is the Brady of moto, absolute goat!
He had such a good season, we all know he would have won washugal Moto 1
Let him race !!!!!
Hes amazing
A great role model
Life is dope
