- Nine-time AMA Supercross and Motocross Champion Ryan Dungey lined up for the 50th Anniversary of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, which began in California in May.
Dungey raced alongside the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team in the 450MX class at the Fox Raceway National at Pala season-opener on May 28, as well as the Hangtown Motocross Classic in Sacramento on June 4. We followed the former champ behind the gate to give you an insight into what goes on at a motocross race.

I admire his control of expectations and commitment to improvement. His results are excellent considering time away from racing. I hear rumors of JLAW making a race, hope he doesn't screw anyone

Basically Top Gun Maverick but in motocross. Literally
Man this was such a treat this season. I was on the edge of my seat every race hoping he’d get that podium. He came so close. Dungey was my favorite guy & I was bummed when he retired. So glad to have him back even if it was just for this summer. Thanks for this vlog!
I wish he didn't retire and he raced supercross in 23
