Growing up in Mississippi in the late 70s and 80s. When our cousins came home, we always asked them questions and dreamed of going to LA with them. Now, Im happy that I grew up in the South. I think we held on to what was lost to gang violence just a little bit longer. I hope LA and all of us can get back to civility, at least in the daytime. Let the gangstas who want war meet up at the pool halls, hole in the wall clubs, and speak easys, like the old days.

I dig the analogy Big Kev and also, like I always say, if you love your homies, you don't want them dead or caught up behind some bs or something that coulda been easily squashed and that's ain't weakness.
