For Ghostfaces name, I think they probably thought “The Ghost” was too broad to take off the table especially since the character isn’t even a literal ghost
i think it's the same with xenomorph, the alien is a little too broad if they plan to add more aliens (we already have demo and singularity who are not quite aliens but resemble them)

The Executioner is a good title for Pyramid Head because the idea of him came to James while seeing a depiction of old Silent Hill executioners who wore red pointed hoods, and even without that we do see him execute people or generally "dispatching" monsters in Silent Hill 2.

Nothing about him is as he portrays himself. In this way, he is a trickster. I do wish we could have had a killer fitting a kitsune archetype instead though.
the Ctrl key is used by a lot of killers, used by Doctor, Freddy, Pig, Clown, Ghost Face, Demogorgon, Oni, Deathslinger, Executioner, Trickster, Cenobite, Artist, Sadako, Dredge, Skull Merchant, Singularity, Xenomorph, Good Guy, Unknown, and Lich. A few of these are pretty minor (Xenomorph's is just to highlight paths in the tunnels) but most of these are pretty important to the killers power (Deathslinger uses it to reload, without it he's only has 1 shot. Good Guy uses it to activate his power, without it he's just a tiny 4.4 M1 killer.) so I'd personally put it in the good keys tier, maybe even iconic keys but that feels like pushing it. Edit: with the ptb rework, you can add knight to the list

The thing I like about the killer titles is that it sounds like they’re given to them from the survivors. So the Ghost Face would make sense if they know who Ghostface is or if he refers to himself as such.

IMO the Deathslinger is one of the lamest titles for a Killer, it feels a bit cheesy and doesn't really roll off the tongue that well and kinda seems like something a 10-year-old might come up with instead of just giving him the title of "The Gunslinger" I think something along the lines of "The Outlaw" would have been a cooler title though
The blight has the best name the best music with its church inspired opening and the best backstory, he basically gave the killers the blight serum to strengthen them
You use ctrl to teleport to lockers with Dredge, change spells with Vecna, crouch as Ghost Face and Pig, enter hidey-ho mode as Chucky, reload as Gunslinger, mark control stations as Xeno, check the radar as Skull Merchant, reload/swap bottles as Clown, place down portals as Demogorgon, not sure about the next ones but I think also enter Main Event as Trickster, enter Blood Fury as Oni, teleport to gens as Freddy and to TVs as Onion, and teleport back to husk as Spirit with that one addon, there may be more. Ctrl is literally the second most used buton for killer powers right behind M2 lol
For Trickster, his name was more based off the way that he tricked everyone in his tome. The story of how he twisted the fact he kidnapped that Brazilian singer, how he made it seem as if HE was the one kidnapped, it has to do with how he manipulated everyone into not realizing he was the killer. But I agree, it is certainly tied to his past life, not so much his life within the realm
i like to believe that jonsey can just spawn in randomly on any of the maps, do whatever he wants and none of the killers are bothered by him, he's just a silly little orange guy

CTRL key should be higher, on survivor you can use it for stealth and for dodging(hillbilly, blight, deathslinger, plague etc.) and for killer you use it in a lot of powers (for example you use it while playing clown to switch/reload bottles)
My personal favorite killer title is the Legion. It’s just 4 teenagers calling themselves the Legion. That’s just kind of cool because me and my friends can call ourselves the Legion too.

CTRL is used more frequently than Shift, I'd wager.
I think Vecna’s ‘The Lich’ is fitting. He’s one of the strongest characters in DnD and if you were to think of a single character that would come up when you say ‘The’ Lich. It’d be him. He’s The Lich, the most powerful one. One of godly power
As a big fan of the resident evil franchise, I must say that I disagree with you on the Nemesis. In Resident Evil lore he has a title/nickname already The pursuer. I feel like that should have been the title that they gave him and simply have his name be the Nemesis.
