Years ago, before all the various molded plastic winders came to market, I made large flat bobbins (6x9 inch) from sturdy corrugated cardboard. After wrapping with duct tape, the cardboard bobbin is indestructible and, as a final touch, a pair of holes are punched thru the bobbin to capture the cord ends. The size was selected to accommodate a 100 foot length of cord. A dozen or so bobbins fit nicely into the canvas rigger's bag I use to carry my tools and supplies. It makes a nice go-bag for crafting.

To cut and seal at the same time , I measure all the pieces that needs to be cut , I take a propane tank and heat a pair of cheap scissors and cut away , it cuts and seals at the same time , I sometimes cut at a 45° degree angle to get a point or just cut straight across , works great Everytime and looks professional without black burn marks with burnt ends

Strange that lacing needles are called paracord fids in the paracord world. (And regular fids don't seem to be used as much.)

Thank you, my friend, for the explanation. I am a huge fan of your artistic work. Can I make the handmade mold for the bracelets at home, because this piece does not exist in my country? I was hoping that your words would be translated into Arabic. Thank you.❤🎉😂

I would like to learn how to do this but I'm finding it hard to find a video that's helpful for me. Is it possible for you to make a video that you can show me what the tool's do. Can you make something and explain it in detail what you're doing and what you're using as you do it for a beginner level. I hope I make sense sorry and thank you
