SOLUTION…. I had same prob on my Golf 7 (the only problem I had in 50000 miles of great driving!). ie. Error message light but the bulb good. The problem is simply bad bulb contacts. On the plastic moulding there are actually 2 contacts on each side of the bulb. The more visible contact (which you cleaned in this video) is NOT used. It is the lower, outer contacts which are deeper into the bulb hole. Scrape the brown residue from these two contacts. Scrap brown residue also from bulb contacts and it then makes connection to bulb. The giveaway is the brown coloured stain on the plastic moulding which is a sign of past heating at these outermost contacts as they degraded. PS. Love your videos. Thank you.
I see VW's and Audi's with taillights not working almost every day. I think they need to redesign something. I'm not for or against any brand. The next time you are driving at night take a look.

Mechanicky funguje krásně, nic nedrhne. Musí to být elektrický problém. Nestalo se ti to taky? Mam taky golfa 7 kombi. Díky moc za odpověď.
