The delivery of a lovingly restored Nauticat 33 from loch Creran, near Oban, Scotland to Lanzarote, Canaries.
This video was filmed and edited by the skipper, a commercially endorsed Ocean Master...
The delivery was conducted in June 2016. Some fantastic sailing conditions and a very calm Biscay! Lots of Dolphins, beautiful sunsets and sunrises - life on the ocean wave!
Music by Edinburgh based Indie Band Bottlenote. Available on iTunes and Spotify.
Well I thoroughly enjoyed that short video. Thank you
Nice boat!
Nice trip, good boat, good luck everyone.
Nice footage but it would be a lot nicer with commentary instead of the bad music. What kind of mileage did you get on the diesel?
I liked the music 😊
please lose the music and tell us about the boat
@@FahlstromJohn i liked it
Хорошее Видео!!! Всем Добра Здоровья!!!
Great open water video. Until the end it seemed a family affair but most likely a family afterwards. My girlfriend and I just bought a Nauticat33-1983 (single owner owned). We are lucky the boat is rigged for blue water and in perfect shape. We are planning many adventures north, south and west from San Francisco so I will be sharing my videos soon. Thanks for sharing. Philip and Alexis...

Great vid, love the Nauticat 33, love Oban, thanks for introducing me to Bottle Note, a great sound. I would also like to know what sort of mileage you got out of the Nauticat on the trip. Stay well.
never showed the inside? ??
The music is bad enough, but to not fade it down when the skipper is telling the backstory, is , well just inexcusable.
what speed were you going? what was the fuel consumption?
What year was it built? Fuel capacity? Very smooth stable sailing, mybe I would buy one some day.
Must of put some hours on that poor engine lol
Skip the Music noise please, otherwise Nice video 😀
Amen to that...!
Cant hear a thing with the loud music
can I ask how much that was? we would love to find a boat like that we are living on the Isle of Wight anyone let us know if you see one thanks ?
Nice video and great boat!!!
How long it took to bring it to Lanzarote? it looks like summer time I guess the trip must be very exhausting
Did you do 6 and 6 watches?
If you watch the video he says 15 days.
Great video
How many hours sailing & motoring did the whole trip take ?
Skipper says at end of vid 1800 miles in 15 days.
@@ewenmorrisonsnr.2614 Thanks, it was mainly the hours at sea thanks
@@ewenmorrisonsnr.2614what was the Skipper name can you share contact
love the video and the music. Anyone who doesn't can watch a youtube on turning off the sound
I hate cheesy music. I guess it was popular when this video was made.
