  • First of all thanks so much for watching! Spent ages on this so it means a lot.
    I want to hear feedback on if the music is welcome or not? Ive got it played very subtly in the background but I don’t know if it fits or not? Please let me know if the silence is better than music.
    Finally sub 12 and thought some updates solves were in order. Let me know if I could’ve done anything better.
    More stuff coming soon!
    Much love
    Scott

    As a sub 10 man myself, this is good, maybe you could start predicting pairs like I do, and ai saw your speed solves, lookahead would help you as well, and cut down mistakes on last layer and you can be sub 10! i really liked it.

    2:55 Bowtie. For some reason, I have an aversion to wide R/L moves, so for Bowtie, I used to use R' F' L' F R F' L F which was quite clunky - it's like a figure of 8. I then discovered F (R U' R' U' R U2 R') U' F' which I've adopted as it's actually quite fast with your two fingers working in tandem.

    nice video, I’d recommend moving the cube around a bit slower just for demonstration, it got a bit nauseating and hard to follow at some points

    • @scotthuntercubing
      @scotthuntercubing  2 місяці тому

      @@funk.y-o2y really? One of my main points for making this video was to make it as a easy and slow to follow as possible and I really didn’t think I went to fast other than possibly the one clip I edited in for solve two where I showed a better solution!
      This isn’t me biting back just suprised as the video was made specifically with this in mind

    • @funk.y-o2y

      @ it wasn’t too fast, it’s just the way you move the cube up and down left and right without rotating, made me dizzy lol, could just be me, but the explanations were clear and easy to follow

    Which cube is this bro....?

  • @faz0111
    @faz0111 19 днів тому +2

    bro these definitely arent example solves wtf, u wouldnt do anything here at all in a real solve... you're meant to do your actual solves then analyse your solutions with commentary afterwards

    • @scotthuntercubing
      @scotthuntercubing  19 днів тому +1

      @@faz0111 Maybe walkthrough solves is a better way to describe it.
      I know that during a solve sometimes I might not do something them most optimal because I’m not the best so I didn’t see the point in retracting to the audience my bad habits.
      In this setting I can fully analyse any position and try to keep it as realistic as possible and also give as much information as possible. So in this sense it wasn’t a case of me trying to show you exactly what I would do in a solve, it’s more so trying to get any knowledge I’ve got in my head into the audiences.
      And while what you’re saying is right I believe there is still much to gain from this type of video because at the end of the day in still showing what I believe to be the best and most optimal solutions and going into as much detail as possible.
      Hope this helps and happy cubing :)
