      I couldn't really say if the sound indicates the quality, but it certainly has a good level of rebound if I drop a ball bearing onto it.

    There was an Earnshaw stable in Australia that had horses in the 1800's maybe they made anvils as well for blacksmithing purposes for horseshoes, but that's a stretch but there are also Earnshaw metal fabricators in the UK that unfortunately don't publish their history and the last Earnshaw I found was Earnshaw fencing in the UK which over generations made tools etc before fencing

      I'd be a bit doubtful about Australian anvil manufacture before the 20th century, but I've been wrong before! 😁

      @@tanyiabailey4792 I thought at first that it was a female, but I've recently learned that juvenile males also have green feathers but with a light-coloured beak!

      Nah, it's just tilting it onto an edge and swivelling it. I've never been THAT muscular!
