Love my hot water bottle,,,,!!!
Lovely episode! Thank you Emma. PS- I’ve been scratching my head about what to knit my Mum this year, the hot bottle water bottle cover is A+. She will love and appreciate this so much!
Lovely vlog. I'm inspired by your more minimalist approach to decorations. I always feel the pressure to put to much up. Gorgeous hot water bottle cover too. X
Thank you for a lovely, calming Vlogmas episode (sans jingle bells 🙌🏼). With a teething little one Silent Night won’t be a thing for a bit 😂.. look forward to seeing the garland 🌲
hahaha thankfully the last few nights were silent for us.... long may it continue!!!
I love your decorations. I like the idea of minimizing them. You could also have perishable ones like orange slices or, dried out I mean, or a garland of cranberries, or garland of popcorn. Dried orange slices could be made into about a dozen ornaments also that would look very nice on the tree. The non-perishable handmade ornaments are good present toppers also, so the ones you make one year could be on your tree and in the next year put them on presents.
Lovely ideas, might do the orange slices next year.
I've been listening to the Benjamin Amos music since November. I bought it last year. Your hot water bottle cover is looking really nice.
Emma, I love your choice of music. Blessings on your wee family. Merry Christmas : )
Your Christmas tree looks gorgeous. I found Benjamin Amos and his album Joy on Spotify, which I'm going to listen to while I'm knitting socks and mittens. Nollaig Shona/Nollaig Chridheil/Merry Christmas ❤🎄🎄🎄🧶🧦
I love the colorwork on your hot water bottle cover! Gorgeous color! Rufus is so cute just laying around all cozy. Very nice video thank you.
I’m thinking i might make a nice colorwork cover for the rice pillow we have… someday… as I have so many wips and projects in my que with yarn purchased. Hope you are able to get some good rest in. Always enjoy your content.
Love your podcast! Your tree looks so beautiful! With the garland, I used to use wire but it took so long, then one year I used zip ties & found it was so quick to just simply attach the branches this way. It made a two hour job just a 10 minute one & was the best garland I’d ever made {partly because the needles didn’t fall off while I was winding the wire, it was just so easy to join} I hope that makes sense.. . Merry Christmas! 🎄
I love that hot water bottle cover. I must of missed that pattern when i was looking on ravelry. I will try and find that x
Lovely episode Emma xx catching up with your blog as and newest podcast whilst sick with covid in bed xx
I love your podcast and your beautiful Christmas decor. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Lovely realistic vlogmas Emma. We don’t even have young children but I so love a few simple decorations.
Your tree looks beautiful and I look forward to seeing the wreaths. The hot water bottle cover has certainly inspired me 👏🌲
Thank you for sharing! I love the music by benjamin amos and have added his christmas album to my queue.
А зачем вы пользуетесь грелками??? Это традиции или вы правда экономите?
Love ur doggie. And I eat plenty of sweet potatoes too. 😁
Thank you Emma.
I feel exactly the same way you do about decorations! I have a rug and a pillow I put out and I'm done. I'm not a Scrooge, I love Christmas. I just don't like the clutter!!
Watching your vlogmas and my order arrived! It is beautiful! Thank you
That little Christmas corner with the tree and fireplace just looks so cute and cosy 😍
the hot water bottle cover ur knitting is so lovely ! i always rly enjoy ur vlogs and videos !
This is probably a dumb question but what do you use a hot water bottle for? I'm in my 50's and have never used one or seen one used.
Really?!! They are just to stop your feet burning and to keep the heat in longer! I can’t believe you haven’t seen one before. Maybe they are more common here than where you live? Need to Google this now!
They help with stomach cramps, stiff muscles and cold hands. I use mine for headaches, too!
I live in Texas & I have heard of hot water bottles. My mom used them when she was a kid & she lived in Michigan. These days most folks just use an electric heating pad. I know that is what I use now.
You need more christmas decorations. You should knit stockings for your husband and daughter. You can knit a mitten advent garland. You can knit baubles for your tree.
Love all these ideas. She already has a knitted stocking on the fireplace! I like the idea of a mitten garland
