Good ideas are good! I have a downstream baypasse just like this one, except the tap is on the hose. When I watched your video, an idea came to me. I have a question; in my case, I have a 1.8 orifice for a 4gpm pump. Since the downstream has a low mixing percentage, can I put another one in parallel to increase the mixing volume? Be careful, they are not one in front of the other.
That's a good question. When we used a 4 GPM machine, we used a 2.1 injector and was getting about 1.25%. That's the downside to down streaming and why we moved to the AR45. Thanks
jsut to be clear, since im getting into Pressure washing, u run SH while surface cleaning? whats the point of downstreaming there? i thougth downstreaming is not strong enough for surface cleaning.
I have a 2 pump 2 reel setup with downstream on both. Both pumps will or could surface wash and with that being said wouldnt I want 2 bypass injectors?
That blue monster is life changing. I just ordered all the parts to build that box for saop you built looking forward to that.. I just added the bypass today really pumped about that. That being said I also just ordered that three way plastic ball valve instead of using it for 2 guns I wanted to use it as a flush system for my new soap box have one line for soap/bleach then the other going strait to a water and bleach neutralizer cube
Awesome!! I actually have 2 3-way ball vales. One to switch between SH & water, and the other one to choose what reel to send it to. Let me know if you need any assistance with the box. Thanks
This is funny seeing this video today this is the question I asked Doug Rucker why not put your Downstream injector on the whip line and put the dn10 valve on a straight path that is a smartest thing you did I believe and I asked him that question for the same reason you mention so you can do surface cleaning without losing pressure
I think i missed something. How will you rinse the injector with water if the soap is connected. Again, i missed something. That is a pretty cool idea. Thanks for this video
Blue Monster is much better than Tru Blue. I keep getting leaks with Tru Blue off of my 4gpm 4400psi pump. The PSI rating is terrible for Tru Blue maybe 800 or so. But nothing beats and I mean nothing beats HERON Powerseal 932. $70 for 8oz. (Ouch) But it has a 10,000 psi rating and is for hot water and steam as well. If your sick of those little drippies and we all are. This is the way to go.
I make a small stainless steel box for the small 3 way ball valve. If anyone wants a picture of what it looks like let me know. The 3 way ball valve goes into the box and it protects it from every getting broken
Thank you! One more question if you don’t mind. I want to set mine up just like that. What are those on both sides of the chemical injector, just a female & male 3/8 coupler? Thanks
I see no benefit to the bypass...that small amount of water volume increase makes almost no difference and would never be worth the cost of the bypass.

Love the idea and creativity! How has it worked for you? Did you stick with it or change to a different setup? I know it’s been a while now.
We don't downstream anymore, but it worked great. Thanks

You should not run SH while surface cleaning. You could pre or post treat with SH. Sometimes a downstream mix will work. Thanks
Plumbing skills are a requirement for this job for sure. Rig looks awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Agreed. Thanks!
@@allproexteriorservicesllc5338 Does True Blue work as well as the tape you mentioned?
@@VaJamie Yes, True Blue works very well. Just a little messy. I mainly use True Blue on my soft wash fitting due to higher concentrate of SH. Thanks
Are those 3/8 T fitting from Amazon they say they are only rated for 2800 psi?
I purchased my fitting from Southside Eq. Not sure of the rating tho. Thanks

Yes, you will need two. Thanks
Man, you are always posting great content! Definitely gives you more options on the trailer!
Thanks John!!
Great idea as usual
Thanks!! I am glad you talked me into it!!

Ok glad you commented cause wanted to make sure that would work gotta love upgrades! Thanks alot and will do

Agreed!! Love the by pass. Thanks
do you have a way to flush out the injectors??? that is what I use my three way ball valve for is to flush the injector out. you will love the by pass
Yes, I have another 3-way ball valve that runs to my SH and water tanks. I just switch to water and flush. The by pass is awesome for sure!! Thanks

Thanks for this video
I have another 3-way ball valve that is connected to my SH tank & water tank. I just switch the ball valve to water and rinse. Thanks
Did you buy this all together in a kit?
It was a kit from Southside Eq. Thanks

I lose 1.5 GPM going through my injector on my 9 GPM machine. Thanks
