I did a draw test based on one of your videos for my downstream injector. Worked great. I still like the x-jet, but nice to know I can offer the service if requested.
Thank you for the video! We have a downstream tank that gets 50/50 with a 2.1 injector and a 5.5 machine. That mix does great on vinyl with almost no risk of killing plants. Thats a big concern when my uncle goes out on his own. Anything that needs a stronger mix we break out the roof pump.
@@ktpowerwashing I’m not getting a 50/50 mix coming out of the gun. I have a batch tank that is half water and half 12.5. My downstream injector pulls from that batch tank.
General pump makes a dual barb injector. You could use one barb for Sh and one barb for soap and you could keep the valve attached on the soap line for metering.
I run a 2.1 on a 6.5 gpm with 200 ft of hose and I'm around 13:1 which is around .75 mix and it has cleaned some tough siding in this early spring. I'm currently paying 2.95/gallon around here and it's expected to go up a lot.
Thanks for all the great videos. Just wondering why switch from 5/8 to 3/4 water hose if it is just filling a buffer tank? Getting new water hose for my reel and didn’t know what size to go with.
Good investment on that injector. The check valve cracks much easier then the spring and ball. 2.3 injector will be far better to soap with as you’ll be able to apply with more flow and pressure then the 2.1.
I have great luck with a .8% mix. especially in the middle of the summer. I use a 10 to 1 injector and flush my transfer pump with water into my SH tank making it .8 out the gun.
Did you like the super sucker? I use same vertical 50 gal as you, I mix it 50/50 sh and water, and down stream it, I order 300 gallon of sh and get 600 gal on mix out of it,
Also, 1.8 orifice (made for 2-3 gpm) is putting a lot more back pressure on your pump making it work harder trying to punch 9 gpm thru it. Long term pump damage? Maybe. Up for debate.
I checked my 10gpm yesterday and the psi wasn’t to high before the injector with the 1.8 orifice. Best I can tell it’s fine. Definitely slows down the flow though
I’m helping a friend do a house wash with his craftsman 2.5 GPM pressure washer. The injector is after the pump so I know it SH won’t go through the pump. How would you do a draw test with a 2.5 GPM pressure washer? Any suggestions is very much appreciated.
I would suggest using an Xjet with a 2.5. I did for my first season with great success. You can pull almost 3%. I would mix 50/50 batch in bucket to pull with Xjet. Puts 1.5 on the house.
Hey Joe I cannot for the life of me get anywhere near a 10 to 1 mix. I'm running 8 GPM TSF2021 with 165 ft of 3/8 pressure hose with stainless steel 2.1 injector with the check valve and pulling about an 18 to 1 ratio. Not sure what else I can do besides putting in the 1.8
